Chapter Seven - The Hospital Again

I woke up in an ambulance, I grunted.

"She's awake! She's awake!" I man said.

Pain shot through my head, I whimpered.

"Steady, steady." Said another man, they were getting me out.

"Aisling! Are you okay?!" Juliet asked.

I tried to find were she was, I heard Ashley crying. I looked beside me, Ashley was crying and on a gurney as well. My vision was murky and.. Well, fading?

"No, no, no. No." I murmured. This isn't real, Ashley isn't on a gurney again. What had happened before couldn't have been a dream.. Could it?

I passed out again and woke up. I was in a room, in a room with doctors. I don't know what their saying, or what they're doing, I closed my eyes again.

-- A Few Days Later --

I opened my eyes once more, a really white room. That's what I'm in right now, wait. I remember, Ashley was in a gurney beside me again. It couldn't have been a dream, it can't have been! It seemed to real.

"Aiswing? Your awake!" I heard Ashley squeal, that made me smile. I saw her, she was.. Unharmed. But I saw her crying and.. And on a gurney.

"Hey." I said, my voice was a little hoarse.

"Oh, thank god." I heard Juliet say, I felt something squeeze my hand. I saw Juliet sitting beside Ashley, have they been here the whole time? No, they can't have.

"Hey, mom. Hey, Ashley." I said.

"How are you feeling, honey?" Juliet asked.

I held my hand up and made an 'o' with my index finger and thumb with the rest up. "Just peachy." I said. Ashley and Juliet chuckled. I heard other voices. The guys?

I looked to my right and saw the guys looking happily at me, I smiled at them. Andy - er dad was here too. "Hey, guys." I said. Jake isn't here.

"Hey, Aisling. We're so glad your okay. Especially CC." Andy said.

"Hey, Aisling!" CC said, he gave me a big hug, I laughed and hugged him back, we're close. Like brother and sister, Andy doesn't exactly think so though, he doesn't get it.

"I've missed you, it's been so boring you couldn't believe it." CC said, smiling.

"Thanks, dude. I've missed you too. All of you actually." I said, I looked to everyone as I said it.

"So, where's Jake?" I asked.

"Oh, the doctors said you'd wake up soon so he decided to get you some McDonalds, we made sure he wouldn't forget to say no bacon bits." Jinxx said, I smiled at that. They remember, no ones really ever remembered. Well, except for Andy and Juliet.

"Thanks, guys. For remembering, I mean. Well, I guess for everything else too." I said, I'm so grateful that they take time to be with me and like me and all. Wait, Jeff! Shit!

"Uh, what time is it?" I asked.

Uncle Ashley checked his phone and asked "Near five o'clock, why?".

"Well, there's.. A guy. I wanted you to meet, he's like a family.. Friend." I said. I'm lying again, I'm a terrible liar.

"Oh, you mean Jeff? The guy that pushed and yelled to get to the gurney?" Uncle Ashley asked.

My face heated a little. "Yep, that's the guy." I said.

"Yeah, he said he was your cousin." Uncle Ashley said.
