We got back home and went inside. "Okay, uh. So the guys are gonna take care of you two while me and Juliet go to the adoption centre, we'll be back soon. We're not sure how long, but we'll be back." Andy said, juliet and Andy hugged us goodbye and left.

"Bye! Love you!" Little Ashley squealed, waving goodbye as they left out the door. I waved goodbye as well.

"So, what should we do while they're gone?" Jinxx asked.

We all shrugged.

Me and Juliet walked in the adoption centre, kids stared at us with hope in their eyes.

"Ah, here you are. Come with me, we need to show you two the girls' past." The lady who worked at the desk said.

"What do mean by that?" I asked.

"Oh, well. When the girls you adopted first came here we did this thing we call a Past Search, we see their past like a security camera and hear what they are saying." The lady explained. I didn't know how to react.

"Is this legal?" Juliet asked, concern in her voice.

"Yes, it's perfectly legal. It has been tested by the government but denied by a lot of adoption centres because of the child's privacy and safety." The lady said. "Come with me, please."

We followed her cautiously into a room that had a few chairs and a tv, the lady went behind another desk and typed a few things before the tv was turned on and selected 'The Hollings'. Right, that's what Aisling and Ashley said was their last name.

"Alright, this is Aisling Hope Hollings past, her past starts at the age of two." The lady said as the thing started. "Please, have a seat." She said.

We sat down. The first thing we saw was her mother, she had dyed blonde hair, glasses, and green eyes that looked like they were green and blue mashed together. She was beautiful, she looked up at - I'm guessing - Aisling's dad. They kissed, the memory then changed to a scene I'd rather not have seen. It was her mom and dad fighting, there voices were muffled, Aisling had snuck out of bed when she heard the shouting, she was in the hallway.

"No, you know what? I'm not ready" Her dad said.

"No, you can't just leave!" Her mom said, exasperated.

Her dad left the room he was in, grabbed his coat, and took a last glance. He saw Aisling but he didn't seem to care, he then left. Juliet had her hands to her mouth in sadness, I put an arm around her and watched what happened next.

The next memory was Aisling looking up at someone, she didn't look like a relative.

"Natasha!" Aisling squealed.

"That's right! I'm Natasha! Your big cousin!" Natasha said.

"Where's Auntie Leanne?" Aisling asked, she sounded about two years old.

"She's over there." Natasha pointed over to the living room. 'Aunty Leanne' was kissing a man.

"Aunty Leanne! Uncle Jim!" Aisling squealed.

"Hey, baby girl!" Uncle Jim said. "How's that tooth?" He asked.

"It's weally wiggly." Aisling said.

"Would you like to pull it out? It won't hurt." Jim said.

"Yes pwease!" Aisling squealed.

"Alright, come here." Jim said, picking Aisling up onto his lap. Aisling opened her mouth so that her tooth could be pulled out. He pulled it out and she didn't even flinch.
