Two Broken Souls

Chapter 7

I was falling. I felt weightless. For a moment I panicked. Then I started flapping and I flew. It was scary but amazing. I felt the freedom here. The wind was blowing at my face. The view was great. No wonder Zeus wanted the sky as his domain. I did a few fancy moves just to show off to Loki. I landed to see Loki looking at me with his beautiful smile. Wait where did that come from?

"I did it," I yelled triumphantly.

I hugged Loki. He tensed. Probably because I never did that before but then he hugged back. I smiled Mischievously.

"Hey Loki have you ever played video games before."

Loki looked confused.

"What is these video games you speak of."

I smiled. He just looked so cute when he was confused. I dragged him inside to my room. Where I had all sorts of games. I decided to have a bit of fun with him and get out Disney infinity with the Avenger version. I got out the Loki figure for Loki, hehehe. I got Thor figure me.

Loki looked at his figure on the screen.

"Oh my gods. These mortals put me in a magic mirror," he said astonished. I smiled at that.

"It's called a TV and this is a game on it. The objective of this game is to build and fight and a few other things."

We played for a hour before we got bored.

"Hey I think Tony said he has a training room. Want to check it out," I said. Loki nodded.

"Jarvis, where is the training room," I yelled out.

"It's on the sixth level and down the hall on the second right," Jarvis said with his British accent.

I lead the way to the training room which had all sorts of things. I saw an archery section, a firearm section, a hand in hand combat rink, a sparring section and lastly a separate room with robots disguising as different villains (like the things in the ultimate spider man show). Loki was amazed.

"Thor must like this room," Loki said.

"Care for a spar," I said excitedly. Loki nodded.

"You do know that I'm going to win. After all I'm a God and I lived a long time," Loki said jokingly.

"I wouldn't be so sure," I said grinning.

We went into the rink. I got my sword out and Loki got his new sword out that I gave him. We both got into our stances.

"One question, can we use our powers," I questioned.

"Yes you may," Loki said while smirking.

He had that look that said, oh you are so going down. Well see about that.

Loki hit first. I blocked and teleported behind him gave him a bruise. He winced. After that he seemed to get better. He sent some jabs but never got me until he duplicated himself and got a me a bruise. I managed to give him quite a few bruises. By now all the agents in the room were watching amazed at our skill. Seeing a ex villain and a new hero spar was quite interesting.

I back flipped behind him using my wings for balance and did the trick Luke taught me on him effectively disarming him. I pushed him down landing on top of him.

"Do you surrender," I said.

"I surrender," Loki said begrudgingly. I don't know why but right now Loki's lips looked inviting.

Wait what was I thinking. I am not going to fall in love again. All love does is hurt and kill. A lot of people think Aphrodite is the weakest of the olympians but she is actually the most powerful. She can make heroes die for love. She can break any person's heart. I'm not affected by her. So now I can control who I love. Besides how could Loki love someone like me.

I quickly got off of him. He almost looked... disappointed? But it was probably my imagination.

"Hey Loki I'm going to try the robots out." I said blushing.

I ran over there and started. I took my sword out and got in my battle stance. After a while the robots got harder to defeat. It was almost too easy until I found out how to program them to match my powers. You just selected what powers you have and it basically has the power or can defend itself from the power. Like if you had fire it would send robots that were fireproof.

I ended up selecting quite a few, being goddess of power I could basically do anything but I didn't know how to use all my powers. So I'll slowly select more powers. I lost myself in the training. All I wanted to think about was the training. Nothing else. Not my past, not the future, not SHIELD, and definitely not Loki. I focused only on the training. It was lunch time when I decided to stop.

I headed to the cafeteria even though I wasn't really hungry. Ever since I went to Tartarus I couldn't eat as much as before and I didn't need to eat as often. That was probably because in Tartarus food wasn't just lying around. All I had there was the fire water. That tends to decrease your appetite. I grabbed a sandwich and a water bottle. I took three bites of the sandwich and the whole water bottle before I got full. I then decided to go out in the city.

I put on a hooded sweater and some simple jeans. I then vapor traveled to the park. There wasn't any people there. I didn't have to block any more thoughts here. The telepathy is frustrating because I have to block people's thoughts constantly and if I don't I'll hear everyone's thoughts and let me tell you, some people have some dirty thoughts.

It was actually peaceful here. Or so I thought. I suddenly herd a roar. Uh oh.

I looked to the sky to see a full grown drakon. I immediately took out my wings and my sword. I flew up and started slashing the drakon across the belly where there no scales to protect it. The drakon roared in pain. The drakon then hit me with it's claws. I was thrown on top of a building me.

My body screamed in protest as I got up. I knew that if I didn't get up the drakon would send me to Tartarus to reform. I then decided that my powers would do more damage even if I barely knew how to use them. I sent a big blast of water at the drakon's mouth disabling its ability to breathe fire. I then sent a bolt of lightning at it effectively killing the poor drakon. I collapsed. My body couldn't handle the abuse. I looked into a mortals thoughts to see that they thought a it was a missile. I laughed. The mortals are clueless to what actually is happening around them. It's a surprise that they can even see mutant and alien activity. Stupid. With those thoughts in mind everything suddenly went black.
