Two Broken Souls

Chapter 16

Percy POV

I woke with a start and felt someone's arms wrapped around me. I slowly turned around and saw Loki. I smiled to myself. Cuz I mean who is lucky enough to snag a god for themselves.

I loved the feel of his warmth, so I cuddled up to him, and I started to doze off until I heard a knock at the door. I bolted up. I looked at Loki in alarm.

I started to shake Loki awake because I want to keep our relationship a secret for a while. He groggily got up and looked at me questioningly and as he was about to say something there was another knock on the door followed by a voice.

"Hey Percy wake up we got another mission, HURRY UP OR I'M coming in there."

Great it was Tony. Loki looked up at me with wide eyes and he got out of my bed he looked a me in panic and I pointed to the bathroom. I cleared my throat.

"Tony don't you dare come in here because if you do I won't be afraid to hurt you.'' I screamed. I waited a second and herd him walk away. Thank gods that he left I walked into the bathroom and saw Loki just standing there.

He looked at me questioningly and all I did was sigh and roll my eyes." Don't worry he's gone, but you should get to your room unless you want to get caught, so go on...." Then I realized that he had been banned from using his magic here on Earth, so I faced palmed. "You know what never mind I will just flash you there." 

As he was about to respond it was to late I had flashed him back to his room.

I went to my drawers and got my mission outfit.

Gods really another mission what is wrong with the world.

Anyway I got ready in a matter of seconds because of my godly powers. Gods I just realized that using my powers for everything will make me like the : lazy, prideful, and arrogant.

I shook those thoughts out of my head and headed towards the rest of the team. They were all at the top of the building and I looked at them expectantly.  

Then Tony came in his Iron Man suit and spoke up," Okay guys there is some sort of monster with multiple heads attacking a few civilians and by the looks of it they aren't doing so good, so lets go."

I looked nervously at Loki who was staring at me worryingly. If it is the monster that I think it is then this won't be good, and my identity might be revealed, and so will the camps/demigods.

I released my wings and I started to fly up to where tony was leading us. We were somewhere near New York Long Island, right near Camp Half Blood.

I flinched at the name because it brought upon so many bad memories and betrayals. I started to look around for any signs of the monster that we are supposed to be taking care of.

Then I heard a roar up a head. I flew as fast as I could to kill the monster. As I got there I saw a bit of fire go up into the sky. When I saw the monster, my worst fears have been conformed. It was a Hydra.

I got out my sword and landed on the ground as I saw the rest of the avengers come near me.

I looked closer and saw that there were two figures fighting the Hydra. I couldn't see who it was but they looked familiar and hurt.

I started to run towards the Hydra and I heard screams of protest form the Avengers. I didn't care because a demigod was in danger, and I would be a horrible god if I let someone from my domain die on my watch.

I ran as fast as I could and nearly fell from shock when I saw who was fighting the Hydra. It was FREAKING NICO DI ANGOLO AND THALIA GRACE! 

I was so relived that I wanted to cry but I decided that now isn't the most appropriate time. I got into a fighting stance and ran towards it. I used my godly strength to jump up to one of it's heads. Two of the heads came towards me and I swung my sword. Both heads fell to the ground and I summoned a jar of Greek fire and threw it at the two stumps.

I heard machinery charging up and I looked up and saw Tony flying around the Hydra shooting it.

Stupid mortal. Their weapons won't help in this battle.

I focused back on the fight and saw Thalia and Nico looking at the Avengers and -especially at- me. I ignored them and went back to fighting.

I was chopping off the heads and summoning as much Greek Fire so that the heads wouldn't grow back.

I looked back at Thalia and Nico and saw that they were also fighting. I also looked back to see the Avengers and saw that they had all stopped fighting seeing that they weren't helping.

Then after a few more minutes the Hydra was no more and it disintegrated into golden dust leaving me to face two angry cousins.

I smiled  and waved.

"PERSIA ACHELLIES JACKSON WHAT THE HELL?!?!"

Then I started running.
