"My lady."

Leo's POV

At first I couldn't see, but when I could, I wished that I was blind once more.

The room was dark, lit with torches of black light that somehow allowed me to see, holding a striking resemblance to stars in the night sky. The ground beneath me was wet, but I didn't dare look down, something about this room felt ancient, and I didn't want to push the limits of what was possible in demigod dreams.

It reminded me of the one I had seen five years ago, when Percy had handed me a blueprint in a language I couldn't understand. Chiron had gone pale when he'd seen it and asked me where I'd gotten it. I told him Percy gave it to me in a demigod dream years in the future.

A few days later, he'd disappeared.

Now, I was a fool – I could readily admit that – but even I wasn't that stupid.

Percy had been up to something, and somebody else was in on it.

Dragging me out of my thoughts, a flash of white light that I could only relate to a newborn star. A woman appeared in the centre of the room, standing at a height of over forty feet. She was a churning deity of ash and smoke, and almost instantly I realised how screwed I truly was.

In front of me, was Nyx, the Primordial Goddess of the Night and the deity me and my friends were supposed to defeat.

She slowly walked towards a tall black throne, sinking in height until she stood at seven foot. She was abnormally tall but it was a more manageable height than craning my neck to look at her in her Primordial height. She sat on the throne, the room around her glowing slightly as the light increased.

I could hear a door opening behind me and felt Nyx stare right through me at the person who had entered. I wanted to turn and face them, but in the presence of the Night's power I was paralysed. I also figured that if Percy of the future (or what would now be deemed as the past) could see me in his dreams because I had moved, I didn't want to chance it in front of a crazy-evil Primordial.

Then the figure stepped through me, sending a cold blast of ice through my body as I strained, with all of my might, to not gasp at who stood before me. Nyx smiled at the man, sending shivers down my spine as theories ran through my head, none of them good.

"My lady," his voice rang through the room.

"Champion, why have you come?" Nyx's voice was deep and powerful, almost deafening in the silence.

"The quest has reached the North Mountains and seek passage through in order to save the Third Squadron," he responded, kneeling at her feet. "What would you have me do?"

"Speak to the leader of the Monster Path you choose to cross, present yourself as the demigods' guide before asking to speak to him on your own, while in earshot of the group ask about the Hellhound you're so fond of. Then you must consult him about the plans of battle, we need the North Mountain's allegiance, it is the only way to guarantee the monsters' loyalty to our cause," Nyx stated. "Then tell him to grant your group passage, but on the condition that they must battle in the Trials of Belief."

The man took a sharp intake of breath at the deity's final words before standing up and bowing. He nodded at her, "Thank you, my lady, your guidance will not fall upon deaf ears."

"Good, now leave."

I felt myself be pushed out of the dream, and I woke up gasping for air as the fresh pain of betrayal stung my thoughts.

Someone on the Argo II was a traitor, and I knew who. The gods would soon discover it and Olympus' might fall upon the one who decide to side with the Night.

A/N:
First chapter, as promised, within the hour. Thankfully, I've had this planned out for a while now so it didn't take too long to type this up. Now, speaking of Night, it is 00:44 and I am shattered. I have held my end of the bargain so now you shall hold yours by being awesome and leaving a:
