"Come on and meet the rest of the team Lily" My new team mate Scarlett told me. I had been walking through the front door and towards the security desk to check in with Bella and as soon as we got there we saw the security guard and may I say he was really really hot. He was about 6'0 with brown hair that was about shoulder length, but I didn't mind and he was buff. His biceps were almost too big for his uniform, I bet he's a wolf I thought to myself. I had started to stare, but Bella nudged me. I could tell that she was checking him out too so I don't know why she nudged me, but then I actually tore my eyes away from him and looked farther and saw that the director was staring at us. We both had snapped out of our trance and started to walk faster to go and talk to him. We kind of already met him for a interview because you know that's how you get a job.
*Flashback*
"Come on in Lily" I heard my name being called by the director's secretary. As I walked in I was really nervous and just how big he was didn't really help. "Go ahead and sit down Ms. Garcia" He said. "Thanks Mr. Stone" I said politely. I sat there fiddling with my fingers and staring at my hands as I waited for him to ask me some questions. "Ms. Garcia wh.."
"Please call me Lily" I told him.
"Ok" He smiled slightly.
"Lily, why did you go into law enforcement"
"Well probably why everyone else did to be able to help people out"
"Hmm...Okay I see here that you did very well in the academy" He stated " I also see that you're a witch, but may I ask what you do?"
"Of course, I mostly work with the four elements, fire, water, air, and earth"
"That's pretty cool. So if you and your team were in trouble you would be able to control the elements to help you?"
"Yes as long as I'm near the element that I'm using"
"Ok, We have two openings one on the X Team and another on the Z Team. They both mostly deal with murders, but the X Team takes on the higher profile ones. They work together when needed, but they usually do fine. How is your fighting?"
"It's not that bad my dad taught me how to fight as a kid and have been going to karate classes since"
"Nice, ok how about your skills with a gun?"
"I'm pretty good with a gun, but I rarely use one." He nodded at that.
"The professors at the academy had really good things to say about you and from what I can see you have good potential. So I'm going to put you on Team X."
"Thank you Mr. Stone you won't regret it."
"I'm sure I won't" He said smirking.
As I left the director's office I felt like he knew something that I didn't.
*Flashback over*
"Hello Mr. Stone" I said
"Hello Lily, Isabella, shall we..." He said as he made a gesture to follow him. As we started to follow him this is about the time that I met Scarlett. He gestured towards my new team mate and introduced us while he turned the other way and introduced Bella's new team mate to her.
"I'll leave you with them" The director said.
I nodded and turned back to Scarlett. She was true to her name she had red hair and she had a little blush on her cheeks also. She is about 5'8 so about the same height as me, but she was gorgeous. She has blonde hair with light blue eyes that twinkled when she smiled at you. Once we were in our team's area she showed me to my desk and I started to set up. "The BBB doesn't really like little trinkets on our desks, but it should be fine because he won't be back until tonight so you should be fine" She said.
"Who's the BBB" I asked really curious.
"Oh that's the Big Bad Boss man but he really isn't that bad once you get to know him."
"Oh ok, So where is he" I asked.
"He went to visit his family back at his old pack." She said.
"Oh may I ask what he is?"
"He's a wolf"
"Cool and do you mind if I ask what you are?"
She started to chuckle because of how timid I sounded asking even though I shouldn't be. "Oh it's fine I'm a tiger" she said
"It suits you" I said
"Thanks" She said blushing.
"So today you're just going to get comfortable and get to know the whole team pretty much" She said
"Ok let's go" I said. She started to chuckle at my enthusiasm. We started walking towards a lounge room that I just noticed. It had a couple of couches with some arm chairs. They all were colored red which I thought was pretty cool. There was also a small kitchen with a stove and microwave to heat up things that we might want for a snack. "Hey guys this is Lily" Scarlett said.
"Hey Lily I'm Carissa" A short cute girl said. She was about 5'5 so she was short to me. She had black hair with hazel eyes and she was much prettier than me, but don't tell Bella that I said that she'll hurt me. "Hi Carissa do you mind if I ask you what you are?"
"Of course not I'm a Cheetah"
"That's so cool" I said and she just started to giggle.
This guy came up and literally picked up Carissa and set her aside to get to me and once he did he took my hand and put a kiss on top of it and I surprisingly blushed and started to giggle a little bit. "Don't you want to know my name Lily?" He asked
"Of course" I said still giggling.
"Well then it's Lucifer"
"Hello Lucifer" I said. Once I got done giggling I actually got to look at him and he is about 6'0 with black hair and blue eyes. He also has some muscle but not really huge like the security dude. He is more on the lithe side, but still cute. "Do you mind if I ask you what you are?"
"Of course not babe. I'm a Lion"
"Sweet" I said. Once all of the introductions were over we went and watched some TV before someone started to talk. I looked over and saw that it was Scarlett. She asked me what I was doing tonight.
"Nothing why?"
"Cause we are having a masquerade ball and I just remembered. I still have to get my dress so I was wondering if you and your friend would like to go."
"A masquerade ball, sure. That means we need to go and get dresses and masks and our hair and makeup done. So much to do we need to go." I said
"Alright let's go grab you friend and let's go" She said
We started to walk out of the lounge, but I looked back and asked "Carissa, Lucifer are you guys going?"
"Yes" They both replied. We jumped up and down with joy and I said "Let's go torture ourselves" to Scarlett and she just laughed at me.
