"Oh before we go and get Isabella I forgot to introduce you to one more member of our team. She's our technical analysis." Scarlett said as we started to walk towards an office that had about a million different types of electronics. I looked closer at the desks and saw that there was pink everywhere and stuffed animals and I thought it was so cute. Then I actually looked at the girl that was in the office and saw that she had on a very colorful outfit that I thought was outrageous but that's me. She had light blonde hair with blue eyes that sparkled at you. She was short but not super short because of the heels that she had on, so probably about 5'4 without the heels. "Hi I'm Ava" the girl said.
"Hello I'm Lily" I said
"Are you going to the ball tonight?" she asked while bouncing all over the place.
"Ya, we were heading out to get our dresses right now" I said
"Coolio" she said
"Ava do you mind if I ask you what you are?"
"Of course not hun, I'm a squirrel"
"That really suits you"
"Thanks" she said as she was still bouncing around.
"Well I'll see you later"
"See ya"
Once we all got to the mall Bella and Scarlett had to literally drag me because I was seriously rethinking this. "Come on Lil you might meet your mate there" Scarlett said.
"Really" I said even though I kind of still didn't want to go, but you know I already agreed.
"Ya, I kind of have a confession to make. It's a mate ball technically. They make every one that is in the agency go to it to see if they can find their mate." She said.
"So I really don't have a choice do I?"
"Nope" Scarlett said popping the p.
"Ughhhhhhh fine" I groan and Scarlett and Bella both chuckle at me. I can tell already that it's going to be complete and utter torture. I guess if I find my mate out of this I'll go through the torture. You see we witches can sense when our mates are close, but not exactly who. Now shapeshifters like Scarlett can scent their mate and know exactly who they are which I find pretty cool.
As we got closer to where all the dresses were I started to see one that I just knew would be the one. I was instantly mesmerized. It was a strapless sweetheart neckline dress. The bodice has beads all over and when it moved it sparkled like the sun, and the rest of dress came out wide like a ball gown and was light blue. I looked over and saw that Bella had found a beautiful red strapless sweetheart neckline dress. It came out like a ball gown too and had unique intricate designs which just made the dress even more beautiful. I also saw that Scarlett had found a beautiful dress. It was also a strapless sweetheart neckline dress. It also came out like a ball gown. It was dark blue with intricate designs in the bodice which just added to the dress. The dresses that we found where honestly all gorgeous and fit all of us. Next we had to go and find some shoes. I found some glass high heels with a butterfly that I loved. Bella found some red and gold ones with a little strap and they also sparkled which was cute. Scarlett found some silver ones that sparkled. We figured that we could just do our hair and makeup at our apartment because Bella and Scarlett could both do hair and makeup unlike me. I want nothing to do with that crap. I guess you could say I was a tomboy.
As soon as we were back at our apartment with Sacrlett in tow we only had a couple of hours to get ready. "Hey Scarlett do you think you could call Lucifer or Carissa to come and pick us up?" I asked.
"Of course" She said. As soon as she got off the phone she said "They already rented a limo so we're all set"
"Yay" I said excitedly. I was surprised at how excited I was, but I was also really nervous.
I had snuck off once I had found my dress to go and find some masks for us. For the mask that I got myself, half was light blue and the other half wasn't quite white, but looked creamy. Around the eyes there's blue and lace on top of the mask. It also had a blue string to tie around your head. Next is Scarlett I got her a mask that was pretty much black, but the is a little bit of blue in it and around the eyes. It had an intricate design all around and had a black string. Last but certainly not least I got Bella a mask that had red flowery lace and it had a black string also. "Hey guys I got all of us masks!" I said.
"What?!" They both exclaimed
"Yup" I said popping the p. I handed them their masks and they were gushing over them then they asked when I had time to get them.
"Well I snuck out when you guys where trying on your dresses"
"You're very sneaky, I'm going to have to warn your mate of this when you find him" Scarlett said.
"What nooooo" I pleaded with her
"Not working, I'm still going to do it because you bought us these masks even though I love mine." She replied. I sighed giving up because I knew this was a battle that I was going to lose.
"Yo who wants to do my hair?" I question
"I do, I do" Bella practically screams while jumping up and down. I just chuckle at this because she has been wanting to do anything to me for years. She puts my hair up into a bun and adds some kind of bobby pins that looks like a diamond. "Ooooo I love it" I say. She just giggles. Bella has her hair down and has it curled, but she also put the diamond bobby pins in it too. Scarlett has her hair in a sloppy bun and it looks really good on her. Once we put on our dresses and heels we all go and look in the mirror and I almost forgot one more thing I need some makeup. "Who was going to do my makeup?"
"I was" Scarlett said before Bella could even open her mouth
"Oh goody" I say sarcastically and roll my eyes
"Oh stop it you'll look fabulous, now come over here so I can put it on" She said. I drag myself over to the chair she is standing by. Once she gets done I go and look in the mirror and have to admit that I don't look half bad.
I heard a honk and looked at all of us and thought that we all looked pretty hot.
"You guys ready?" I asked
"Yup" Scarlett and Bella said.
"Ok let's go" I said. I looked in the mirror one last time and felt like I was missing something. "Oh my mask wouldn't want to forget that now would I" I exclaimed as I put it on.
"Ok let's go find us some mates hopefully" I say..
