“This can’t be happening… No no no no…” I mumble on and on and begin to franticly wave my hands in front of Anna's face. I scream and still nothing. I jump and even push her. Nothing. Just a blank stare. I laugh in her face; a hysterical, maniacal laugh that frightens me. She doesn’t even blink. “Anna…? ANNA!” My throat aches. I pound on the wall and pinch her arm and scream some more. Eventually I slump to the floor, and empty my stomach. “No… please no, not her… not my Anna… no no no…” I begin to shake and don’t even register that Sam is picking me up. He cradles me in his arms and I find myself sobbing into his chest.
