Angels carried forth
The gates of Heaven.
He, thy Lord had ordered
The Scroll Of Shame; Amen!
May the Lord seek peace
The Angels cried. He though,
Had other plans in mind—
Civil Wars across mankind.
Rarely would anyone find
Happiness, love- only sorrow.
Carved in the Scroll of Shame
Were sins His creation had made.
He laid his decree; He forbade
Then of even a trace of compassion.
Heavier than the heaviest element,
Thy saviour expresses His lament.
