Chapter 2: Pair tayo?

Edward's POV

"Who is she?" Tanong ni Marco habang nagmamaneho.

"Who? That girl?" I asked without looking at him. He nodded.

"She's my classmate. Why?"

"Nah. I just find her cute." He said while flashing a smile on his face.

"Cute? Where did it come from?" I asked trying not to burst out laugh.

"Why? Isn't she cute?" Natatawa niyang tanong.

"Whatever dude." Sabi ko at tumahimik na.

Before anything else, I would like to introduce myself first. I'm Edward John Barber, half-Filipino half-German. Since my mother is a Filipina, I understand some of tagalog words but actually, I can't speak tagalog very well.

If you ask kung bakit kami narito, well, our parents sent us here para mag-aral and also to learn the culture here. Not just that, preparation rin to for our future. Since kami ang magmamanage ng company ng magulang namin, kailangan naming maging ready.

"We're here." Marco said habang pinaparada ang kotse. Hindi ko na siya hinintay pa at pumasok na ako sa loob ng condominium. We're in the same building pero magkaiba kami ng unit na tinitirhan. I went straight to the kitchen and cook some dishes.

After a minutes, natapos narin ako. I called Marco to come for dinner. Nasa kalagitnaan kami ng pagkain nung mapag-usapan namin ang tungkol sa business. Since mag-business partner ang mga magulang namin, they decided na kami rin ang magpartner in business.

"You know, I really want to pursue my dreams and be free one day." Out of the blue moon na nasabi ko sa kanya.

"Bro, magagawa mo naman yan as long as you have the desire to do it. But for now, kailangan muna nating sundin kung anong gusto ng magulang natin."

After naming kumain, pumasok na ako sa aking kwarto. Nag online muna ako sa facebook to check if may message sa akin si daddy. But as expected, I don't have any messages from him. (-__-)

Maglolog out na sana ako nang biglang may nag-friend request. Tiningnan ko kung sino ito and to my suprised, it was heaven. I immediately accept her friend request and wait for her message.

Typing..

Heaven: Hi Edward! How's your day?

Me: t'was fine. How about ya?

Typing..

Heaven: It was nice, actually I enjoyed the whole day. Anyway..

We chatted all night and it was really fun to talked with her. It's almost 12 midnight when we decided to end our conversation.

Even though late na akong natulog kagabi, I still manage to wake up early in the morning and do my daily routine. After kong magready for school, tinawag ko na si Marco upang sumabay sa akin papunta sa Startford University.

"Let's go." Sabi ko at sumakay na sa kotse.

Actually, I have my own car. Since we're in the same school, sabay na kaming pumapasok gamit ang iisang sasakyan. It's true na I don't know any places here yet, even pagpunta dito hindi ko pa masyado alam ang daan only Marco knew about going here.

After few minutes, nakarating na kami sa school. Since magkaiba kami ng building na pupuntahan, naghiwalay din kami eventually. I was walking at the corridor when I saw Maymay walking with many books in her hand.

"Hey." I said. Hindi niya ako pinansin, she just continue walk. I took some of the books on her hands so that she will notice me. She stopped walking when she finally noticed my existence.
