Ch. 3; Meeting the Others

"We have a new clubmate?!" I heard as I turned around to see a Asian girl with dark brown hair with pink highlights run up to me and hug me.

"You must be Miko, right??" I asked as she pulled away and glared.

"How did you know my name??"

"Well, Jack and Rafael are basic boy names. Miko is a girl name. So that's why." I explained as she grinned.

"I want to introduce you to them anyway." Miko said as she pulled on my arm and dragged me up the steps to the couch where there I saw a older boy about 16 and a younger boy about 12.

"Hi, I'm Emily." I said as the older boy looked up.

"Oh, hi, Emily. I'm Jack. That's Raf. What brings you here??" Jack asked as I looked at the Autobots who were having a conversation.

"Well, I'm a superhero that goes by the name of Black Arrow. I was brought here to Jasper. Nevada because Fowler was kidnapped. Had to save him and then I sorta ran into Optimus." I said as Jack stared at me with shock.

"Optimus, how can you be absolutely sure that we can trust her??" Ratchet asked as I looked back at the girl.

"Honestly, Ratchet, I can't say that I do and don't trust her, even though she saved Fowler. We only need to hope that we can trust her." I said as Arcee stepped forward.

"Why would the Decepticons want Fowler anyway??" Arcee asked as I shook my head.

"We do not know, Arcee, but we should be glad that it wasn't catastrophic." I said before walking away.

//Emily//

"Shoot. I got to get home." I said as I stood up from the couch.

"Hey, will we see you tomorrow??" Jack asked as I smiled.

"Of course. Why would I say no??" I stated as I leaped off the steps towards Optimus.

"Hey, Optimus??" I stated as he looked down at me.

"Can you take me home?? I got to be there before 1 and it's after 12."I said as he transformed into a semi truck. Okay, I'm over overwhelmed now.

"Hop on." He said through the radio as I jumped into the passenger seat and we drove to, what they call, a ground bridge.

"Tell Ratchet where to go." Optimus said as I nodded and hopped out of the truck.

"Ratchet, can you pinpoint the location of Starling City, please??" I asked as Ratchet nodded and typed the city in the ground bridge.

"You live all the way in California??" He asked as I nodded.

"How did you get here??"

"Well, my uncle installed these teleporters called Zeta Tubes where we can go anywhere in the world. And I think there's one a mile from here. But I used that to get here." I said as I headed back to Optimus.

"Starling City, here we come." I muttered as Optimus drove through the portal.

"Wow, that is so much like the Zeta Tubes we have." I said as I heard a rumble which meant he was laughing.

"My apartment is down that street." I said as he made a right straight to the apartment complex.

"Guess this is my stop." I said as I hopped out of the truck.

"See you tomorrow??" I asked as I heard a rev sound from the truck which I guessed was a yes.

"Well, see you tomorrow, Optimus." I said as I kissed the side of the truck. I could have sworn I felt heat on my lips as I pulled away. I then walked to the building and climbed up the fire escape and into my room.

"So, where have you been??" I heard as I jumped and saw Batman.

"Jesus, Bats. Sometimes I think you want to give people heart attacks." I said as I held my chest.

I heard him chuckle as I sat on my bed.

"Took me a long time to find Fowler. He's fine now, but, I may have got caught into some Decepticon battles." I said as Batman crossed his arms.

"How is he now??" He asked as I chuckled.

"The man's fine. Made sure he was safe." I said as he chuckled.

"You always did have your father's spirit." He said as I blushed a little.

"Thanks, Bats. See you later." I said as I saw the lights flicker and then I saw he was gone.

"Show off." I mumbled before I could have sworn I heard his ghost laugh.

"Seriously, that guy gives me the creeps." I mumbled again as I laid back in my bed.
