Everyone was silent as the priest waited for an answer from someone or anyone at all. This was the moment they have all been waiting for. The final question was already asked and everyone was waiting for that one brave soul who'll stand up and save the unfortunate young man from the devil's wrath.

'Speak now or forever hold your peace...'

Averine gripped her dress tightly as sweat started to form on her forehead. She knew what other people thought and said about her behind her back. She also knew that many were against her relationship with Railley due to her character. In her mind, she prayed fervently that no one would play a prank on her and ruin her entire wedding. Having someone announce his/her unacceptance towards their union publicly would definitely be the death of her.

'I would give my Jimmy Choos to charity, Lord. Just please let me get through with this. If that isn't enough, I would gladly burn my designer clothes and live in a hut for the rest of my life...,' on and on went her promises.

When it was obvious that no one was going to argue, the priest carried on with the whole affair. Averine finally managed to breathe normally and felt overjoyed, all her promises were completely forgotten. She looked at her right and her fear instantly melted away at the sight of Railley. He was indeed the greatest thing that ever happened to her.

*flashback*

"Where the hell are you taking me?" Averine furiously ran towards Railley and hit him hard in the back when she finally kept up with him.

Earlier that day, he surprised her by showing up at her house and arriving with an entourage of roses. One by one, delivery men decorated her entire living room with a total of 500 dozens of roses. After they were finished, the once insipid living room looked like a Valentine-themed prom hall.

When they were finally alone, Railley approached her while holding a single rose in his hand. He was dressed casually with his Hollister shirt, Guess pants and Lacoste sneakes. Next, without further ado, he kissed her and took her out of the house and led her to his Maserati, not even bothering to tell her where they were going. When asked what was going on, Railley simply shrugged and continued driving. This got Averine really irritated since she just finished taking a bath and was only wearing denim shorts and a white t-shirt. He didn't even give her time to apply make up and comb her hair. On Averine's opinion, she looked hideous.

There is no way people are going to see me like this beside Railley looking all mighty and good looking, she thought. So, when he stopped the car, she immediately rushed out and started running. Unfortunately, her fiance was athletic and so he easily kept up with her.

He firmly ordered her to follow him. Scared to anger her fiance, she obliged but with a heavy heart, of course.

"Babe, relax, just trust me in this one, okay?" Railley put an arm around her waist and pecked her on the cheek.

"Can't you see what I look like?", she pointed to herself, "I look like a nanny compared to you!"

To her irritation, he only smirked and said, "Of course I can see what you look like. You look perfect to me."

No arguments followed after that until they reached their destination. Averine was disappointed by what she saw or did not see for that matter. He led her inside a dark room, almost pitch black, even. She got so angry for the irrelevance of their journey that she begun cussing.

"Are you f****** kidding me? You were so romantic with the roses and all but you take me into this," she shook her hands in the air, "...this, this s***!"

Suddenly, lights were turned on and Averine was caught off guard by what was around her. Glass cases containing several diamond rings filled the vast room while they stood at the center.
