“Chanyeol.” His mother suddenly said.
Baekhyun looked at his mother, “Why? What’s with Chanyeol?” Baekhyun’s mother smiled meaningfully at him and Baekhyun knew that, “Hoho. No mom, Chanyeol’s my friend.” Baekhyun cleared to his mother.
“Then why are you with him? Did you two had a date?” she teased him.
“Mom!” Baekhyun’s body felt hot because of what his mother said, “Mom, Chanyeol is only a friend, he saw me in the vegetable section and helped me with the groceries. That’s all. It’s a coincidence.” Baekhyun explained.
She stood up and said, “He’s your friend, FOR NOW.” and proceeded to the kitchen to cook dinner.
Baekhyun just shook his head and smiled at what his mother said. But it slowly disappeared when he felt that the thing they should have talked about earlier was KYUNGSOO, AGAIN. “Friend. I’m only a friend to him.”

Chanyeol left Baekhyun’s house and he was a little disappointed because he didn’t had a chance to tell Baekhyun that he saw Kyungsoo yesterday. And he cannot erase Kyungsoo’s reaction when he heard Baekhyun’s name.
It’s fine. There’s still a next time, he heard.
He sighed and complained, “Why don’t you just tell me?!! Just let Kyungsoo see you!!”
Sorry, he heard.
Chanyeol closed his eyes, “Tsk.. Jongin, seriously.”
