Changing

Emily POV

When I get up the next morning I have to be careful not to wake Alison. I put on a black button up, rolling the sleeves and leaving the top two buttons undone while I pull on dark black jeans with black shoes.

While I'm gelling my hair I hear Alison groggily speak, "Emily?" I walk back into the room after washing my hands and smile, "morning. I'm here." I cup her cheek, gently stroking her skin while I kiss her lips gently.

"Morning...what time is it?"

"Time to get to school. I'll drive you to your house." She nods and we eat a quick breakfast, then I drive her home until she comes back out, ready to go to school.

"I texted the girls. I'm picking them up on our way and we're going to the Brew after school. Good with you?" She nods, "yeah perfect."

Once I pick up Hanna and we are all in the car, Hanna groans, "can I have your coffee Spence? I got no sleep last night." I glance at Alison who frowns, "why not?" Hanna shakes her head, sipping Spencer's drink before she speaks.

"I couldn't stop thinking about that CeCe girl. God I swear I have seen her before. Last night I kept having these weird images pop up in my head. Ones from when I was younger. Someone was there but it wasn't her. It was some boy."

Alison stares at me and I grab her hand, keeping my other one on the wheel as I drive.

"Maybe she just reminds you of someone."

"I guess so but I just...I don't know," Hanna sighs and I clear my throat, "music, anyone?" Alison grins, "great idea." She turns the radio on and when we get to school, I get out quickly, Alison following.

"What the hell do I do?"

I sigh, shaking my head, "usually, I would know but honestly? I have no idea babe. I'm useless here." "Hey Sky!" I turn around and Noel comes over, "Alison."

"Noel," she says and I glance at Alison, "I should go. I love you, alright?" I peck her lips, then head with Noel towards the guys.

"Look at you go Sky! Getting the Queen B Ali D?" Sean pats my arm and I smile, "I guess so. She's my girlfriend."

They laugh, "no way! Bang her yet? I bet she's a great bang." Ben smirks and I watch as Alison shrinks back, clearly over hearing. "That's our business guys. Not yours. Now, I gotta get to class." I walk away and Ben groans, "aw Ethan come on man! Don't be a pussy!"

I shake my head and walk up behind Alison while the girls stare at me.

I tap her shoulder and she jumps, turning around, "yeah?"

"Can I walk you to class gorgeous?" I smile at her, holding my hand out gently and she stares at it, then smiles, "of course you can."

We walk to class together and on the way I see girls groaning, "God Dammit."

I sit down, Alison in her usual spot to my left and I sit in my spot from before I was Ethan. She grins at me, "I missed you sitting there."

"Me too Princess." She grabs my hand, "I love you." My lips pull up as I lean over, kissing her sweetly, "and I, you." Her cheeks flush a dark shade of pink, making me smile, "you're so cute when you blush."

"Hanna...c-can we talk?" Hanna raises an eyebrow and nods, "sure. What's up?"

I look around and pull her into the janitor's closet. "Woah. Look you're hot but Alison should-" "shut up. That's not it."

She nods, "right. What's wrong?" 

I sigh and swallow, "I think...I uh...I'm forgetting things." She raises an eyebrow, "I'm not following." I groan, "I'm turning into Ethan, Hanna."

Now she laughs, "yeah, obviously. Have you seen yourself lately? Turned into him a while ago Em-" "NO! Hanna you're not listening. I'm forgetting everything from Emily's life. I can't even remember who my parents are. I don't know where my old house is!" 

She stares at me, her eyes widening every second, "does Alison know?"

"Of course not. You know she would flip out. I just...w-what do I do? What if I forget Alison and I's history?"

She looks around and sighs, "uh well...I really don't know Em. Let's say you do. You can start fresh with Alison, right? Do you want to stay as Ethan?" I think for a moment and nod, "y-yeah I guess. I like being Ethan."

"Then stop freaking out. Don't tell Alison."

"What if she figures it out?" I whisper and Hanna bites her lip, "then you come clean. Look you're Ethan anyways. Who knows if you would ever turn back. Don't freak out. Just enjoy your life right now and most importantly? Enjoy your relationship with your girlfriend."
