Chapter 1
Human
Life is bunch of surprises.
Much right now, traveling to south going to a rural place to participate the wedding of her best friend. Just graduated in college a week ago and now Serah is getting married. It's absurd getting married a week after college and she didn't even know that she is dating a guy per se, but she's happy for her.
She met Serah Stone in the university where they just graduated. Cliched may it seems but after the light friendly chitchat they just hit it off. Majored in economics while Serah is on the medical field, likes tending and helping others in four years they've been together she observe her enough to tell that's its true.
Clicks in personalities but they're completely different poles.
Serah Stone have a blond wavy hair, blue eyed, honeyed skin and curvy while she-Georgeana Montague have a pale skin complexion, skinny, raven straight hair that's up to waist, doe eyed with amethyst orbs.
Simply ordinary.
She used to believe that her violet orbs are unique with others but it's hard to differentiate with a bazillion amount of contact lenses in the market now.
She don't care.
She love herself just the way it is.
She's been driving six hours straight now and starting to feel her hands and legs are going to pop some imaginary muscles because of stiffness from the car pedals and lot maneuvering.
She needs a break, a coffee and bagel sounds good.
Hopefully she can see some pastry shop ahead.
Thirty minutes passed and still no sign of pastry shop or food shop she's beginning to lose hope and her stomach is starting to make a strange sound.
"Gawd! I'm hungry and tired and where the hell on earth that food shop is located?!" clearly she's talking with herself in a crazed-hungry tone.
It seems that the path she's taking is correct according to the car GPS.
A little faith on her tired muscles and maybe she can still manage for another thirty minutes.
She hoped.
Fifteen minutes passed and she saw establishments ahead . She can't help the goofy grin popped in her face when she saw a pastry shop.
"Finally I can eat a dozen of bagels!"
Hastily, she parked her new sedan in one of the slots for customer parking. An overly priced beamer. She got the new car as a graduation gift from his father. Very convenient especially now.
Grabbing the wallet whilst checking her phone screen she sighed heavily when saw nothing. Serah knows that she's coming in her place but still not bother to give her some call or text. But other than that, she know the way though. Thanks for the modern technology of GPS.
Georgeana securely lock the sedan before heading to the entrance of the shop.
Grabbing the door handle the door chimes made ripple sounds indicating for a new customer arrived. She made her way to the counter. The pastry shop offers a self service method not the other way around. While getting to the counter she can feel the odd stares of customers, automatically goosebumps rose on her skin. Had their parents teach them that staring is rude?
Why the curious stares?
She's not good at judging a character, that's what her mother always told to her.
But the stares from town folks...It's weird though.
Georgeana mentally checked herself. She wore black short shorts, a baggy white shirt, red converse and her raven hair is on messy bun. Well she like traveling comfortably.
'Get a grip on your self Georgeana! Your just imagining things. Being in a rural town alone didn't help. Stand straight and chin up, make your puppy Bear proud.' she giggled on that thought.
Turning to the cashier that have a friendly smile plastered on its face, she can't help return the favor by smiling and the uneasiness in the surroundings ease a little.
"Good morning. What's your order Miss?"
"Uh... I'll have a café au lait and two pieces of sesamed bagel."
After preparing the order Georgeana grab her take out order and give the cashier the money and politely said 'keep the change'.
It's a sudden change of plan. She planned eating on the shop and resting for a while but she have the uneasiness due to the odd stares of the customers.
Going back to her beamer the thought of disappearing in the the eyes of the people made her pulse loosen a little and relax. She ate her bagel heartily and drank the coffee at the fullest. In fairness, the bagel and latte are delicious. She should know, she's an expert on baking stuff. Thanks to her mother.
After relaxing a couple of minutes she grab her phone and read the address sent by Serah. She checked the address on the GPS and luckily, it will only take a ten minute drive on her current location to get there.
"Thanks good heavens! Here I am." she muttered to herself. She maneuvered the sedan out of the parking lot smoothly and take a second look to the GPS, she can't afford to be lost in a town like this.

"Alpha Lazarus, an intruder is located in the seven kilometer-radius in the town. The intruder is a human and not a rouge werewolf at all." mind linked by my Beta Eric.
Lazarus sighed heavily. He understand his sister for inviting a human on her 'wedding day' but he loathed the idea of a human presence on his pack. His sister is very adamant of having a wedding ceremony in their pack. Usually when a couple of wolves is mated it isn't necessary to have a wedding ceremony, because when the mating process is completely done it is the wolf version of binding the sanctity of forever they never needed the papers of marriage.
That's what Serah caught in watching foolish rom com since her teenage days, she said she wanted to feel wedding jitters an ordinary she wolf can't get. Which surprisingly Serah's mate approved of his sisters outrageous plans. Mates is they most precious sacred thing. And their mother is spoiling his sister caprices, and even more excited on the big day because this is the very first wedding ceremony to be hold in their pack.
He know it's inevitable and maybe he can give this human a good hospitality for a days. After all the pack is excited for the wedding ceremony and he can't let his sister down.
"Maybe it is the human guest Serah invited. Give her a thorough inspection before the human pass the border gate."
"Yes Alpha." his Beta replies.
After that he shut his mental barrier to everyone. A pack business for the benefit of pack's interest must be tend first before anyone else.
