She laughs her signature, carefree laugh as their cat tossed and turned to catch his new toy ball.
It reels by the vase beside the newly bought shelf which now holds the media players in front of them. Netflix was on. A lot of people were talking about this show so they started it after settling in his house; they just came home from a holiday in Korea.
They really should be resting, but it's a free day, so might as well binge watch together.
"What?" She asks mid-laughter as he stares at her. They're lying next to each other on one of the elongated sides the rectangular couch--He lay straight with his right arm under his head on a pillow, while she lay sideways with her left arm propping her head. Both of their faces directed to the flat screen mounted a few feet on top of the media table.
"Tsk" he chuckles, with eyes playfully staring
"What?" She asks again teasing, nudging him by her left elbow
"I'm feeling greedy"
"Huh?" She laughs again despite herself
"About what?"
"Your laughter..." he holds her chin by his right hand and moves it side to side "I want to own it all; if only I can keep it all to myself"
"Hmm... yan ka nanaman" she chuckles back "you and your lines"
"I'm serious"
"I'm laughing about our cat"
"I know"
"Seriously, you're jealous because I was paying attention to the cat?"
"I'm not jealous"
"Yeah. Right"
"I am not" he pulls up his grumpy face
"Oh" she touches his nose with her finger in surrender and then brushes her nose against his "what am I going to do with you?"
"Marry me"
