Waking up in Marco’s arms, I almost forgot about all the craziness going on in my life. This past week and a half has been worse than a roller coaster ride. At the end of the day, I just keep telling myself that the most important things have been taken care of. My dad’s debt has been paid and he is rehabilitating himself and Chrissy is on her way to becoming an amazing doctor.

Oh my gosh! Chrissy! She would freak if she saw Marco in my bed, passed out. She has an idea of him liking me a bit more than the arranged marriage but this would throw her in the deep end. She is as bad as I am when it comes to being a hopeless romantic.

I jumped out of bed to close my bedroom door, trying to do it as gracefully as possible without waking this sleeping beast. I peered down the hallway and saw that Chrissy’s door was also open. I tiptoed to the guest room and saw that they bed hadn’t been slept in. I rushed to my bag to grab my phone, hoping everything was ok. I saw a text from Chrissy.

Not coming home tonight, don’t worry I’m safe and will be ok. Will see you in the morning for breakfast. Set an extra plate, Tim will be joining us in the morning. ;)

Cheeky child, but a part of me was jumping for joy knowing she had spent the night with my best friend. She will be the first woman Tim has woken up next to, he usually kicks them out right after the deed is done. He says that way they have no misconception of there possibly being a 2nd date. I know it sounds bad, but at least he’s honest which is more than I can say about my husband.

Putting a pot of coffee on I sat at the kitchen counter in my tank top and boy shorts, pondering my decisions. I heard a rumble from my room and went to see if Marco was ok. As I walked in I saw him stand up, not 100% steady on his feet yet, and make his way to the en-suite bathroom. Completely naked. Damn that is one fine ass. I need to think logically not lustfully.

“Morning Marco, how are you feeling?” I leaned in the doorway letting my eyes roam up and down his muscular body.

“Good morning my dear, I swear I am never touching alcohol again.” He grumbled as he turned to smile at me. He looked like death warmed up, but still was able to get my heart racing again.

“Well enjoy the shower, I’ve got some coffee brewing which should kick start you a bit.” I turned around heading back to the kitchen.

“Roxanne, I don’t need coffee as a kick start with you standing in the doorway wearing the bare minimum in night wear.

I blushed as I walked away, hearing the shower start again. I realized that Marco is the first man I have felt comfortable enough to walk around in such skimpy night wear.  He doesn’t make me doubt my body at all. I’ve always been terribly self-conscious but this man has in less than 2 weeks made me feel wanted just the way I am.

I decided to start making breakfast, texting Chrissy to tell her to make her way home before the breakfast got cold. I also warned her that Marco was here. I hope she doesn’t go all schoolgirl on me in front of Marco. She is going to be monitoring everything he says and does, and pointing it out to me later when we’re alone.

“Something smells delicious, Rox.” Marco walked into the kitchen. Looking much more refreshed then when he had woken up. He was rubbing a towel through his thick dark hair, with another towel wrapped around his waist. Almost too low, it looked as if it was about to fall off at any minute.

“I’m making Omelettes for breakfast, is there anything that you don’t eat?” I smiled at him trying to keep my eyes on his face and not on the rest of his body.

“My dear, you know I eat ANYTHING.” He winked at me, sexual innuendos seem to be his cup of tea this morning. He leaned over and gave me a kiss on my forehead. It may seem like something small to someone else, but it feels so right to me. Like he is appreciating my presence.
