We walked out to the car and got in. The car ride wasn't long but it felt awkward for some reason. It's never been like that before, usually it's lit with Bri but something felt a little off. I ignored it seeing as we had pulled up to my house. I gave her a hug and got out the car. I walked up to the door and walked in. As I walked in my grandmother was sitting up watching TV with my dad knocked out on the other couch. "Corey get up she's home!" My grandmother yelled to my dad. He woke up and looked at me looked at his watch then looked at her. "Okay she's home what you want me to do about that?" My dad questioned. She looked at him then me and I just went upstairs to avoid the bullshit she was about to say or try to conjure up. I walked in the room I shared with my sister and saw that she was fast asleep so I started stripping out of my clothes until I was in nothing but my tank top and shorts. I then walked into Naya room to see what she was doing. "New New you up?" I said walking into her room seeing as she was too knocked out sleep. So I turned her light off and walked into my parents room to see my stepmom doing something on the computer. "Aye ma do you think you can braid my hair?" "Yeah give me a minute." She said.

20 minutes later

After she finished I put a wave cap on and walked out back into my room, connected my charger to my phone and started scrolling through my Instagram until I drifted off to sleep.

Next morning

"Rikko don't hit his ass it ain't worth it man. Do you feel like going to jail again? Leaving yo girl by herself? Who knows what she'll do? Who'll try to get with her? Man is it really..........." "Taylor get up!" Naya yelled while turning on the light snapping me out of my dreams. I sat up to let her know that I was up. She walked back into her room, and I sat in my bed scratching my head for a good minute. Once I was semi awake I got up and walked to my dresser to get a sport bra and a pair of boxer and my towel and walked into the bathroom to take a shower.

Once I got out the shower I put my sport bra on and boxers on and rapped my towel around my waist then started to brush my teeth. As I was brushing my teeth Naya walked to the door and said "you kinda need to hurry up." "Why?" I asked. "I slick overslept so we only got like 20 minutes until it's time to go." "See that might not be enough time for you cause you change your outfit every five seconds but that's enough time for me." She rolled her eyes and walked away. As I finished up in the bathroom, I walked out and put my dirty clothes in the bin and then opened my closet.

As I finished getting dressed I went into my parents room. Took my wave cap off and put it the drawer then went back into my room to grabbed my book bag and made sure I had everything. Then walked out my room and into Naya's. "Just like I said it wouldn't take me that long. And I see I'm still done before you." I said to Naya seeing as she was putting the finishing touches to her outfit.

"Who boyfriend you trying to still this early in the school year?" I joked as we walked down the stairs and out the door. "First off I had to change cause there was something on my shirt. Second I don't want known of these ugly ass lil boys. And if I do get a nigga he better have more money than me because I don't want my nigga asking me "bae let me get a 20$ and I'll pay you back." Like lil nigga I'm not the bank." She said and I couldn't help but laugh. We reached the bus stop just in time as the bus was coming up the hill. We got on the bus and went straight to our seats. As the bus pulled off I plugged my headphones up and listened to music all the way to the school. The bus pulled up and everybody got off. Me and Naya walked to the breakfast line together and got our food. Then we headed to class, while sitting in class waiting for the bell to ring a group boys walked in talking about football. (My favorite sport) "Man Nick Foles is the best quarterbacks." One of the boys said as they made their way toward me to their seats. "Man get out of here we all know that Matt Ryan is the best." Another one said and I just had to laugh. They all then looked at me "what's so funny?" They asked in unison. "The fact that you think that Matt Ryan is a better quarterback than Nick Foles. Man he's the second quarterback to post a perfect passer rating while passing for more than 400 yards, and also the first quarterback in NFL history to post a perfect passer rating and throw seven touchdowns in a single game. And you think Matt Ryan is better." I said and he got quite. "How you know so much about football? Because there's no way I could remember all of that." The first boy asked. "I love football with a passion. And I do my research." I said. "Well my name is Caleb and this is Anthony, Dakota, Brandon and the one you just put on hush mode is David." He said while pointing to each of them. "I'm Taylor but you can call me Tay." I said then the bell rings and the teacher walked in. She calls roll and tells us that since the printer is down she couldn't get any copies for work so today was a free day. After that we all sat around talking about all different things until class ended. As I walked to second period and dropped my stuff down in my seat I walked back out because I had to use the restroom. I rounded the corner a bump into one of the girls from my first period. "My bad." She said. "It's all good." I say walking away and into the restroom. After I finish I washed my hands and headed back to class. As I walked into the door the bells rings. We all make it to our seats before one of the student-teacher calls the room to attention. "Bravo flight attention." She said as we stand in attention. She calls roll then tells us to be seated. She then calls the room back to attention then there was a knock on the door. One of the other student-teacher opened the door revealing a girl. She gave the him her schedule and he let her in while handing her schedule back. She sat behind me and I paid it no mind. Mariah (female student-teacher) then told us to fall outside into the hallway. As we were stand in line she said "tallest to shortest." With me being kinda short I was in the back. Corutez (male student-teacher) then called us to attention and we walked outside to the tennis court..............
