As we got to the tennis court they broke us up into groups to be worked with individually. My group consisted of me, Zariah, Jonathan, Elijah, Giselle, the new girl Mia and our student-teacher Tyler. "Alright so do any of you know any facing movements?" Tyler asked all except for me shook our heads. "I know a few." I said he then nodded at me for me to show him. I then showed him all that I knew already. A few minutes later "Okay good that means you can help everybody else who don't know what to do." He said and I nodded. We then split up and I was helping Mia and Jonathan since Giselle was in a wheelchair. "Alright so did y'all pay attention to what I just did?" I asked they both shook their heads yes. "Alright good I don't really have to start from the beginning. Do y'all know how I did it?" They shook their heads no. So I showed them.

45 minutes later

We head back into the class a wait for them to dismiss us. As the bell rings and we're dismissed the new girl catches up to me and taps me on my shoulder before I put my headphones in. "Hey I'm Mia." "Taylor but call me Tay." I said still walking. She continues walking with me just asking me different questions that I kinda didn't care to answer like sweetheart we just met. "Sooo where's your next class?" She asked and I pointed seeing as though we were right in front of it. "Ohhhh right ummm I'm gonna go nice talking to you." She said walking away. "Yeah." Was all I said as I walked into class and took my seat. While waiting for the bell to ring I got a text my cousin from New Orleans JayJay.

Pause WHAT! Now I know what your thinking, this is gonna be good, I get my family that I missed ever so dearly to move up here and I should be excited right. HELL NO. My family is crazy and trust me you do not want all of us together and you don't want to make them mad. Making one of us mad is like being in a lions den while wearing a meat suit. Or pissing off a Puerto Rican that's a Scorpio while she's on her period. Your just asking to get killed. Yeah we might seem all calmed, cool, and collected but trust me looks are very deceiving. I'm a just play it off caused I don't want them thinking I don't want to see them or want them up here.

I didn't respond back seeing as though the bell was ringing. The teacher came in and started talking. I couldn't get my mind off what JayJay said. I love my family I do. Family is always gonna come first no matter what, but having them niggas up here I already know they about to cause hell.  That's why we was never able to all go to the same schools. Seeing as we all have extremely bad tempers with mines being the worst. With all us in the same school with smart mouth ass females and wanna be thug ass niggas I can just say that this school is gonna need God himself looking out for these students because trust me all hell is about to break loose. Man I just really hope that nobody whines up in the hospital because I ain't got time to be bailing niggas out of jail. All I can think now is God what has Rex gotten me into. Somebody pray for me🙏🏽.

The day has went by pretty fast because I am now in my last period of the day which is art. I love to draw it's a real passion of mine.

Drawing is an escape for me other than smoking. When I'm drawing I feel like I'm the only person in the world. But I don't think I would ever really do it for a profession. I mean I love to draw but that's just not what I want to do for the rest of my life. But this class makes me not want to even like drawing anymore. Like I really just want to go to the front office and change my schedule so I don't have to take this shit. "So you guy we are gonna be learning the fundamentals of art and the history of where it originated from. Any question?" Ms. McPhee said. "Yeah I got one why we gotta learn about the history of art? I ain't sign up for that I just wanted to draw." One of the boys said having everybody agree with him. "Yeah like I just thought all we had to do was draw, like ain't dat the reason of a ART class?" A girl said putting emphasis on art. "Well yes we are going to draw but first you have to learn how it all began." Ms. McPhee said while moving her hands in the form of a rainbow. Everybody just groaned and I just put my headphones in and put my head down. I then fell asleep and was soon woken up by a girl tapping me on the shoulder. "Umm the bell is about to ring soooo." She said looking around. "Oh Ight yeah thanks." I said getting up yawning while I stacked my chair with the rest of them. After like five minutes of the after school announcements the bell rings and everybody rushes out the door and into the VERY small hallway. As it seems like everybody was taking their sweet little merry time to get outside I put my headphones back in until I finally get out the door and outside. Since I didn't really know or talk to anybody I just went straight to the bus. Naya got on the bus and handed me her bag as I got up for her to get inside the seat. We both then sat down and waited for the bus to fill up and pull off.

The bus finally pulls up to our stop and let us off. But as we were getting off we saw my dad and stepmom parked at our stop. We walked to the car and got in the back. "Where are we going?" Naya said. "To Walmart to get some food for dinner." My dad said. "What are we eating?" I asked "I'm making Pasta Alfredo tonight." Naya said. My dad then pulled off and I put my headphones in and I got a text from my old fuck buddy Alana.
