Flashback

"Man please tell me your going to Kelsey's party this weekend? You know everybody gonna be there" Max said. "Yeah man, of course you already the king gonna-" "Yo Tay man yo cousins fighting bruh" DK said as he ran up to us. We then looked at each other then back at him and he looked like he was serious so we took off running to where he was talking about. As we ran we wound up in the back of the school and out the back door. When we got closer we saw what looked like half of the school surrounding what I was guessing to be my cousins. As we pushed through the crowd of people and got to the middle, low and behold all my cousin were fighting what looked to be the preppy snob kids from the school up the street. As I was standing there looking around all I saw was blood and fist being thrown, so I took a deep breath knowing that if I didn't my anger would take over and I'd probably jump in and help them. Even though they didn't need it.

DK looked at me to make sure I was good and I gave him a nod to signal that I was. Once I got myself together and was able to think straight again. Me, Max, DK, and some of my other friends ran over and started to help pull my cousins off them. It took until the police showed up for us to finally pry them off the other students. And even though I wasn't the one fighting we all got arrested. While they rushed the kids from the other school to the hospital. The next day at school we all got called into the administrators office, as we walked in the school's officer was in there with a bunch of paperwork. As the administrator told them all the things they were getting suspended for as well as had them sign the referrals I asked the officer what all the damage was. He said "All six of them have broken noses and black eyes, four of them have cracked ribs, one has a dislocated shoulder, another one has a shattered leg, two of them have cracked skulls, and three of them have has broken hands. And that's just all the stuff the x-rays showed. Plus there's one in critical condition." I just shook my head because that had been the second biggest fight that my cousins had been into that week.

Luckily no one pressed charges seeing as though the other kids were trespassing to our school and could of got arrested for that. But my cousins all did get kicked out of school for nearly killing the other kids and that's when all my aunts decided that we all couldn't go to the same school together. So they split us up to where each one of us was at a school by our selfs.

Flashback over

"Yeah Tay I remember. I just thought that y'all would have grown out of that. And maybe y'all could possibly be able to coexist at the same school without ganging up together and beating the shit out of everybody that pissed y'all off." He said "Look man if they feel like they can calm down, control their anger and not try to kill anybody I got no problem with them coming up here." I said as Rex's face lit up like fireworks on the Fourth of July. "And if they do get kicked out of school they ain't my responsibility. This is a want to be black folks school Rex these folks is quick to call 12." I said to assure him. He obviously didn't care because he was doing what I was guessing to be his happy dance. While I watched him do his dance for a good minute I got a text from Naya telling me that dinner was done. "Yo nigga quit your dancing and take my ass home." I said. He then grabbed his keys from the hook while I grabbed my book bag from the floor and walked to the car he danced his way.

Now I know what your thinking why in the hell did you just yell at him like you his wife, mother or daddy? We'll see that's because I'm the KING in my family just like Bri is the QUEEN. I'm the one who word goes, the one that everybody listens to, the one that tells everybody else what to do. My word is always final because I have to always be the mature one. I just hope when they get up here they remember that.

We were now sitting in the car at a red light. "When are they supposed to be coming up here?" I asked "2 weeks just so they have enough time to pack everything." He said. I didn't say anything else as we turned into my neighborhood. Once we arrived at my house I hopped out, grabbed my book bag and told him that I'd probably call or text him later. He nodded then pulled off as I walked in the house. When I walked in the house the smell of dinner was so amazing my tastebuds did a backflip. As I walked in the kitchen I dropped my bag on the couch. Naya was putting some food on a plate then looked at me and said "I see you wasn't about to miss dinner." "Hell nah the fuck I look like missing out on your cooking. We only get it once every blue moon." I said while laughing. As she finished up fixing her food I grabbed a plate and folk and started fixing mine, once I was finished I went upstairs in my parents room to see my mom, dad, and Destiny sitting around eating as Naya turned on a movie. I sat down in one of the couch like chairs in their room as Naya sat in the other. The movie started and we watched as we ate our food.

A half an hour later

The movie was finally over and I got up and walked down stairs with Naya so we could put our dishes in the sink. Seeing as how Naya how washed the dishes last night it was my turn. I ran some water and washed the dishes which only took about 25 minutes since it was so many and I really didn't want to do it so I took my time. Once I wished I dried my hands and walked out the kitchen, grabbed my book bag then went back upstairs to my room. Once I got in my room I threw my bag against the wall and plopped down face first on my bed. Then I pulled out my phone and started going thru my Instagram. After about ten minutes of scrolling, liking and commenting on post, I put my phone on the charger then got up and started to get undress. Once I was down to my boxer and sports bra I then put on some shorts and laid down and drifted off to sleep...........
