Labour and Our Little Girl

Andy's P.O.V

"You're doing great my love" I said to Baby while she tried her best pushing. My hand was being crushed by her strong grip but I held in the pain. This was nothing compared to what Baby is going through.

"Okay Belle, one more big push for me sweetheart just one more" the doctor instructed and I kissed Baby's cheek and whispered, "One more push baby and our little girl will be born. You can do it sweet. I love you so much" and she let out one more push thus leading to us hearing the most beautiful sound we have ever heard. Our little baby's cry indicating she is alive and healthy.

I smiled and I knew tears were streaming down my cheeks, I looked towards Adelaide and saw her being wiped down and then the doctor said "Would you do the honors on cutting the umbilical cord?" I looked at him opened wide. "Wh-what if I hurt her?" I whispered coarsely. "Ha you won't. Go on here" he handed me a pair of scissors for the procedure and they directed me where to cut. I cut it and they took her, wrapping her in a blanket and setting her on Baby's chest.

I smiled when I saw baby's awwed face staring at our baby girl and she laughed as she kissed her forehead. My heart was filled, filled with love, happiness, joy and everything else good.

-15 Hours Earlier

"Honey, stop it" I said with gentleness but she just ignored me and sniffled turning her head away leaning on the car window. "She was just being nice" I said again and she suddenly surprised me by letting out a humorless laugh "Nice! Oh yeah practically wanting to touch your crotch is being nice" she retorted looking at me with a frown and tears eyes. Out of instinct I softly wiped her cheeks and eyes of tears and she gasped when I softly kissed her.

"I love you, I love you so fucking much and I don't know why you don't understand that" I said coarsely, she looked at me but then caressed my cheek "I do understand that and I love you- I-I just-- didn't like how she looked at you and touched your shoulder" she murmured as she sniffled.

"Oh baby, I wasn't paying attention to her though, I was looking at you and only you. I am yours and you are mine. Okay?" She nodded and then there was that smile. But then her mouth formed into and "O" and I was instantly worried, "My water just broke" I opened my eyes wide and immediately drove towards the hospital, damn it we were ten minutes away.

The contractions also started and I gave her my hand telling her to squeeze when one came. I felt like my hand was going to break off but I held in the pain and practically hurried towards the hospital. Thanking Baby's need to prepare everything earlier we had a bag full of clothes and everything you would need when this happened.

I could feel my heart bumping faster and faster. Our little girl is going to be born today. I smiled wide and even though Baby is hurting because of the contractions she said "I love that smile". I laughed and we are now at the hospital and I quickly got the bag and helped Baby out, helping her we walked into the hospital and she was immediately taken care of and I breathed out an breath of relief thank god the hospital wasn't busy when it came to labour. No other pregnant woman was here except Baby.

She wasn't dilated yet to begin the birthing so we had everything set up and we were in a private hospital room that I reserved. I kept on helping Baby not think about the contractions and told her all about my funny moments when I was a teenager, she laughed but then winced and I kissed her temples, neck, chin, cheek and then her lips whispering I love her.

The doctor than came in and Baby and I were doing those breathing exercises . "Love it hurts. I can't" she whimpered out and I put our foreheads together "Baby I know, but you gotta do this. For us, for our family beautiful and for you. Please don't give up, you're strong" she looked at me and then nodded.

The doctor than informed us that she was the perfect range of being dilated and now we were ready for the birthday. "Okay sweetheart, you're going to give me a big push" The doctor instructed Baby.

"Why did you have to show that beautiful smile and charm and pregnant me love!. This hurts!" Baby whined and I smiled lovingly knowing she didn't mean about getting her pregnant but I smiled because she was being cute even in this situation. After she said that baby did what was asked and pushed. I held her hand and softly encouraging her. The head was now out said the doctor.

We then stayed in the hospital until when the doctor informed us we could go home and take our little girl. I was still shocked. Everything happened so fast but so beautiful.

We were in the car and I smiled driving, "What's that smile?" I heard Baby ask playfully, I laughed and looked towards her. "You make me smile and what just happened. This is my yours smile. Only for you" she laughed in happiness and leaned over and kissed my cheek. When we got home, we held hands and I am holding Adelaide's carrier with her sleeping inside.

We then counted to three and stepped inside our house and Baby squealed kissing me. "Oh and by the way, we aren't having another baby for probably another forty years" she whispered playfully. I laughed because I knew she is joking. "I love you BB" I said and kissed her again smiling through the kiss, we are doing what we have always wanted. Starting a family and this is only the beginning, My love and our little girl.
