Blue Exorcist vs. Black Rock Shooter

Chapter 1

     The bell had just rung at True Cross Academy signifying the end of classes for the day. Rin was walking with Kuro next to him back to the dorm, and like usual, he was carrying his sword on his back. Rin sighed as he was thinking about his day. Kuro hopped onto Rin's shoulder. 

     Kuro climbed on Rin's head and asked, "Where's Yukio?".

     "He's back at the dorm. He pleaded Ukoback to teach him how to cook a little while back. Soon after he tells me that he's no longer gonna let me show off my cooking skills, so he's been up all night taking a shot at trying to cook", Rin replied a bit annoyed. "I don't get him sometimes, I'm a great teacher. If he just asked me to teach him, he could make an all you can eat buffet".

     Kuro took a second to think and imagined Rin barking orders at Yukio. He looked down at Rin, "I think Yukio has every reason not to ask you for lessons in cooking...".                           

     "What's that supposed to mean?! Hmph, little does he know, I'll always be the better cook", Rin smirked. 

     They both continue walking and suddenly stop at the sight of an explosion at the dorm. Rin yelled out to Yukio as he suddenly took off towards the dorm and Kuro hopped off of him. He burst through the door and ran as fast as he could to the kitchen. He couldn't see so well through the smoke, but he saw Yukio unconscious on the ground and so he looked around for the source of the smoke. Turns out it was the oven. Ukobach was trying to put it out and Rin quickly came over to help him. As soon as it was out, he ran over to Yukio.

     "Yukio! Are you okay?!", Rin said trying to get Yukio to wake up.

     Yukio eventually came to coughing in the process, "Rin...?"

     "What happened?".

     "I..don't know actually", Yukio coughed as he slowly sat up, "I was trying to follow directions and follow what Ukobach was doing and all of a sudden the Oven just exploded and caught fire".

     Rin helped Yukio up and took him out of the kitchen and sat him down. Rin walked over to the window and caught something running off in the distance and turned back to Yukio, "Just leave the cooking to me from now on, I don't want you to get hurt in an explosion again if you purposely did something wrong". Rin started climbing through the window.

      "Huh? Where are you going Rin?", Yukio said standing up.

     "The Oven wouldn't just explode for no reason, and I saw something run off and I'm pretty sure that that thing caused it, so I'm going to find out what it was", Rin said looking back to Yukio.

     "You can't go alone Rin...So I'll go with you!", Yukio said walking into a supply closet. 

     "Wait, weren't you injured in the explosion?", In said confused.

     "Nope", Yukio said coming out of the room with his uniform on smiling, "I was just unconscious. Do you see any wounds?". 

      "Fine, Let's just go before it gets away!", Rin said jumping out of the window and Yukio followed after him. A few minutes later, they arrived in the forest, "This is as far as the scent goes", Rin said inspecting the forest. "What do you think it is? A new type of demon?".

     "No", Yukio replied, "Some demons are known for possessing machines".

     "Well, I know that but- Hey! wait up!", Rin said taking off after Yukio who was already walking deeper into the forest. They seemed to be walking for hours until Yukio noticed something in the distance.

     "Rin, get ready", he said as he readied his pistols.

     "What? You see it?", Rin said grabbing his sword tight ready to pull it out. 

     "Yeah, just up ahead". They both crouched down and got closer and the figure Yukio saw became more and more clear. It looked like a man in a cloak with his hood up just looking around. He seemed to have a small beard, stubble. His arms were wrapped in bandages but he tried to keep them covered as though he were ashamed of them. "Ok", Yukio said, "On 3...Ready?...1...2...Agh!". 

     Yukio was blasted backward and hit a tree hard. A purple mist left behind after hitting Yukio. Rin called out to him and looked back to see the hooded man running off. Rin growled and quickly jumped up and ran after him. Yukio called out to Rin to try and get him to stop and wait but Rin was already after the man, his sword unsheathed, ready for a fight. Rin lunged toward the him but the man stopped dead in his tracks, and while Rin was still in midair a portal suddenly appeared before the man and started sucking things in. His instincts kicked in and Rin suddenly dug his sword into a tree before he was sucked in. He looked back to see what had become of his target, but he had disappeared. The portal started getting more powerful and the tree wasn't going to be able to hold him forever. He started getting sucked in. The tree he was latched onto eventually gave out. As he was pulled into the portal he called out to Yukio, but was consumed, and the portal itself had disappeared.
