I regret all of those memories I've ever had with Anika. I disrespected so my family for her and if I could, I would take everything back. The one thing I wouldn't take back is my beautiful baby girl Bella and I must say she isn't too different from me or Anika. She loves taking pictures. My little girl is a superstar at only 18 months, she love taking photos. Sometimes she'll smile or other time she'll do a plain face when she's not really in the mood for all that photography...I mean, she is only a baby. Don't get me started on that head of her. Wooaahh boy. I learned my lesson to never play marco polo on the floor with her because when our heads bumped, I almost got a concussion. Anika Calhoun is a beautiful woman, don't get me wrong on that, but I honestly don't think we were ever meant to be together.

Bella has been with my mother for the last few weeks, unbeknownst to Anika of course. I love my mother with all my heart but she has been off lately. I don't know if it has anything to do with, Dads release or not.
Tariq comes around talking about family and loyalty like he wasn't the one who locked my father away. Tiana literally broke down when she found out the news about my father's arrest. No matter what happened between Tiana and I, she'll always love my father no matter the circumstances. She has unconditional love for him. Dad says "She's like the daughter I never had."
Jamal has been busy handling Empire and managing the music label. Andre has been running around like Pookie from new Jack city, trying to get Vegas investors involved with Empire enterprises. Vernon on the other hand is disgrace to the Lyon family, he's trying to take everything we have but refuse to let our family legacy rot into the hands of Vernon Turner or anyone at all. The Lyon family is built on Love, Trust, and Loyalty. Vernon has lost his place in the Lyon's Den. Mom nearly killed him after dad was sentenced. No one knows about dad's arrest except for the family because we don't need the media on us. Plus Dad would lose his position as CEO if the board knew. It's been a challenge having to constantly come up with excuses in regards to why the head CEO isn't able to make it to any of the meetings but some how they bought our excuses for the past year. Long story short, we paid a few people to keep their mouths shut.
Andre POV
I'm glad dad has gotten out of jail because no matter how much Cookie tries to hide it, she loves that man. We can all see through her so called front she was putting up, it was eating her up inside.
As expected, Lucious had changed into something indescribable. Worst than the devil himself. Thank God he didn't spend more time then he already has because I couldn't imagine what he would've became. He is here for me and my brothers, he gives us whatever we need him, but God forbid you get on his bad side. He is ten times as ruthless and cold-hearted as he was back in Philly. One thing I've learned is to NEVER underestimate the King. Once the Lyon's roar there will be no turning back. Vernon stabbed the King in the back and only god knows what is in store for him. I thought mom was the worst but the wrath of my father will have you wishing you were never even born. Vernon better come wit it because the Lion has been unleashed and there is no escaping it's wrath.
Jamal POV
It seems like nothing could ever be completely perfect and I must say that being born into parents who only wanted the best for us is what has made me the man I am today. It was my mother who felt it was important for us to be given equal amounts of love and attention, and my father who practiced the importance of independence, all these years I just thought he was being a self centered asshole but I understand why he did what he did. He gave me my tough skin. Hakeem takes the center stage. I still laugh at the day I thought he was a doll and wouldn't stop crying. So I just threw him in the corner like the lifeless doll, I thought he was. I got my ass beat that day but it explains why he's so stupid and immature. My mother is definitely hiding something but I don't understand why. She always got mad when the family kept secrets. I wasn't born yesterday I know that my parents were together before my dad went away.
Also, I decided to take this week to figure out who I really am because I've had enough of lying to myself about my own preferences. I don't know if I have a crush on Skye because of what dad told me over the years about growing up and being a man or if I have a crush on her because I'm actually attracted to her.
Hakeem finally grew up and stepped to the plate to be a father to Bella. Dre, is doing well. He moved on since Rhonda's death. He met a woman named Michelle and he couldn't be any happier.
Cookie POV
Seems like a regular day for me is consistently filled with drama. "Angelo, please. We've been over this a thousand times already. I'm not ready to tell anyone, especially not now. I have enough on my plate." I sighed tying my granddaughter's shoe On top of everything I have to deal with, Lucious was just released from prison. I don't plan on telling him about my announcement until I figure out the details. Until then I rather not even speak on the topic.
