Sherlock can't hide the surprise in his eyes fast enough. I can't help feeling a bit smug that I surprised him. It's always fun to surprise the clever ones.
"I'm sorry, who?" asks John looking between Sherlock and me.
" He's the second most dangerous man in London, John," answers Sherlock as he starts to pace. Ohh, Sherlock is starting to think, this will be exciting.
" Naturally, I'm the most dangerous man in London. Sebastian is my right-hand man." I say complacently.
" So you just shot point blank and used fake blood to convince, Sherlock. Why did you need help?" inquires John.
I chuckle, " Because it was too easy. Not nearly as fun as it could've been. And besides, I needed Moran as a backup. Just in case Sherwack decided to poke around." I pause and smirk at Sherlock. He stares at me, nonchalant. " If it was necessary, Moran would've shot Sherlock. Only if necessary. It's rather dull playing with ordinary people, I wanted to keep Sherlock around for a bit longer. I knew he'd find a way to survive, one way or another."
" So it was just another game for you." scoffs John.
I tilt my head and smile, an empty smile that scares off even the bravest people. " Yes, it was just another game. Life is all one big game... And I believe I'm winning."
John opens his mouth to comment, but perfectly timed bullet hits him. The bullet grazes his temple and John collapses on the ground. Sherlock is at his side instantly. He's clearly panicked, something I thought I'd never see. I suppose he cares about John more than he lets on.
" Well Sherlock, consider that a gift. From Sebastian and I." I jeer as I pull open the roof door. I start down the stairs and call over my shoulder, " Until next time."
