 Chapter 1 - Saved

Left on the streets again. This seemed to be happening a lot lately. I lost my parents when I was 10, I had an older brother but he didn't care about me, so I was left to fend for myself. Being truthful it was hard. I had to drop out of school because I couldn't keep up with the bills by myself. 

I walk around the dark streets, alone, out in the cold, it's time like these I wish my parents were alive. They died in a car accident, I didn't even get to say goodbye and tell them how much I love them and it was the same with my foster mother but h-that monster, that disgusting human being killed her. I had to get away from him but I couldn't, I was trapped in that house, working as his slave and then what did he go and do? He chucked me out. 

I continued to walk down the streets looking for somewhere to rest for a while until I was stopped by the strange figure that was heading towards me. I could tell it was a man. I didn't trust it so I tried to be subtle by turning back around. He must of noticed this because that's when I heard

"Oi you, where do you think you're going? Aren't you even going to tell me your name?"

I went to run but he had already caught up with me. Grabbing my arms he dragged me into an alley way. He pushed me to the ground and started straddling me.

"Get off of me!" I screamed, but nothing, I kicked, scratched, punched. He had his way with me, and there was nothing I could do to stop it because I passed out.

"Hello? Hello? Can you hear me sweetheart?" was all I heard. I slowly open my eyes to see a young boy and an older lady looking down at me.

"Oh thank god she's waking up. Honey our names are keisha and Craig, we're going to help you ok?" said the women. She sounded a lot like my mom. I missed her

All I could do was nod, I was too weak to say anything to respond and before I even realised, I passed out again.
