Chapter 8: the siren's proposal

The next morning, the Rainbooms and the Freedom Fighters decided to meet up in the band room to talk about the competition. While waiting for Sonic, Zeon, Shadow, and Pinkie Pie, who were all late, the girls crowded Fluttershy, Applejack, and Sunset Shimmer. Apparently they wanted to hear how their date went.

"Well,darlings?" Rarity asked. "As the one who dressed you three, I think I deserve to know how things went."

"Ok. Ok." Sunset Shimmer gave in. "It was the most amazing thing, I've ever done. Zeon took me to a nice picnic and saved me from getting raped. He is my hero." Sunset said as she sighs and blushes.

"I'll say. Silver took me to a rodeo, and rode a bull. It was not only fun but funny to watch Silver try to tame a bull." Applejack said.

"Sonic took me to this Italian restaurant, it was so fancy and romantic." Fluttershy said as she blushes. "We ordered a tasty drink and this amazing chicken. We mostly talked about his world and how they got here."

"Getting to know your man a little more?" Applejack smiled at her.

Fluttershy played with her hair a little. "Maybe. Anyway after we ate, we went to the park, and he swung me on the swings."

"Sound like fun," Twilight said smiling.

"Yeah it was. I also was able to ask him the question."

"What question?"

"If he would be willing to leave this world if it meant going back to his."

"Oh darling."

"But he said he wanted to stay here with me cause he loves me. We kissed, held each other, and everything."

"You guys kissed? Me and Zeon made out." Sunset Shimmer asked.

"Y'all did that!?" Applejack asked.

"Yes! He even said he'd take me on more dates!"

So the girls were hugging, jumping up and down while letting out a loud shriek. The others congratulated Fluttershy, Applejack, and Sunset Shimmer.

(meanwhile down the hall)

While the other girls, and Silver were waiting, Sonic, Zeon, Shadow, and Pinkie were on their way. Suddenly Shadow stopped them. Sonic, and Zeon was about to ask why he did that until he saw Shadow glaring in front of him. Sonic, Zeon and Pinkie followed his gaze and saw a blue haired guy working on his guitar.

Sonic turned back to Shadow and asked, "Shad, you ok?"

"Fine," Shadow said not looked at him.

Pinkie Pie grabbed Shadow's hand hard to which made him look at her. She looked into his eyes and said, "Remember what you said. You'll settle this in the competition."

Shadow calmed down after hearing that. He smiled at her and said, "Thanks, Pinkie."

She nodded and blushed. "Anytime Shady."

Shadow nodded to her then to Sonic and Zeon. They then tried to walk right pass them, but
Flash had other plans. He put his guitar down and walked over to them.

"Where do you think your going?" Flash asked Shadow and only Shadow.

Shadow stopped and said, "You guys go ahead."
