~Chapter 6~

“Eva? Eva?” I heard a whisper and felt like I was being poked by something. I slowly opened 1 eye and seen that it was in fact Alex poking and whispering annoyingly.

“What?” I said tiredly and kinda bluntly.

“We’re about to land in Baltimore” He said in a more serious tone.

“Really? I couldn’t have slept for that long” I said stretching and taking my head off of his shoulder.

“You did Eves, you were out of it. I even moved your head so I could go take a piss and you never even looked like waking up.” He said as I realized we were going along a runway, so we had landed.

“Wow, I’m actually in America now” I said gazing out the window next to Alex.

“Yep, now get your ass up so we can get back to my place” he said cheerfully and smiling like a little kid on Christmas day.

We walked off with our bags with no worries; they never checked mine thank god. As we walked along to the exit/entrance to wait for a taxi I broke the silence.

“Where are the others staying?” I asked curious,

“At Jack’s for the minute, if zombies get over here we decided we’d all move in with Rian and Cassadee, I reckon you two will get along amazingly, she’s really nice. Anyways, for the minute, Rian was at Jack’s as you seen and then he was leaving when Cass got back to their place to stay with her, Jack, Rose, Rox and Zack are staying at Jack’s for a while to see what happens and I’m taking you to come live with Lisa and I.” he said proudly as a taxi pulled up for us.

“Um, I don’t think me living with you two will be such a good idea…” I trailed off as we got in and Alex gave the driver directions to his place.

“Why? I really like your company” he said half pouting but half serious

“Well, after the whole picture thing I don’t think Lisa will be too fond of me and me staying at your place with both of you will most likely make her suspect more.” I finished looking out the window as the streets went by.

“Oh don’t worry Eves, you’ll be right, I’m sure she’ll like you” he said giving me a little side hug/squeeze.

“OK, if you say so…”

We ended up stopping in front of a gorgeous house in a lovely quiet looking street.

“Wow,” was all I could say as I looked around at the garden all manicured and lovely looking.

“Haha yeah, a lot of people say that” he said as we walked up the driveway,

“I wonder why…” I said quietly to myself. Just then a taller brunette ran out of the house.

“ALEX!” she yelled and jumped up most likely expecting him to catch her but he was still too sore I think cause he hit the lawn with a thump and an ‘oof!’ escaped his lips as he smiled at her lovingly, this must be Lisa.

While they had their little moment and greeting on the ground I walked away a bit and rang Roxy, she picked up after the 2nd or 3rd ring.

“Hey Eves! How’s Alex’s place?” she beamed and I could hear Zack in the background,

“Alright so far, put me on speaker please, I can hear Zack there” I said and both of them laughed.

“Ok you’re on speaker, so what’s happened?” I told them in a hushed voice what happened.

“And I haven’t even gotten inside yet, I need to piss” I said finishing making them both crack up laughing.

“Oh she’s like that Eves, it’s hard to get some band time with her around, Cassadee’s great, her once being in a bad means she understands that we need some time sometimes to work stuff out between ourselves, Lisa doesn’t understand why she can’t just live in a little world where her and Alex are and no one interrupts them.” Zack stated, he obviously doesn’t like her too much.
