"you. . you bitch!" she screeched, slamming a familiar-looking battered black notebook on the desk and i jumped back, grateful our parents had left for a date. i glanced up to see mascara coating her cheeks in two black streaks. it made her look horrifying. when my eyes glanced back down, the breath seemed like it was knocked out of my lungs. because there was my journal. the same one i had lost a few days ago.
"min-ji, sist-"
"don't you dare! don't you dare call me that," she spat. "don't you dare call me your sister, jaehee! i can't believe you would do that to me! you're so fucking gross! what did you force him with, huh? what blackmail?"
i cried because i had definitely lost her now. but i didn't regret any moment spent with you.
"what girl goes around sleeping with her sister's fiancé?"
i was shocked. "your—oh my god, i swear i didn't kn—"
"stop lying! stay away from him, you slut! you monster! you vile, vile, little girl!"
and even though i was in the wrong, i begged her to stop. but she wouldn't, not until she slapped me. then she left.
