On Your Period: Yami

You and Yami were in your house studying for the algebra test coming up normally you were very good at anything to do with numbers, thats the thing though 'normally'. You had started your period the day before so you weren't in too much pain but your concentration had gone off with the fairies and it was getting frustrating.

"Arg I quit! I can't do this!" You shouted throwing your book across the room and slamming your balcony doors open, Yami blinked a couple times confused as to what just happened

He looked around your room noticing all the candy wrappers, ice cream tubs and the pain killer boxes then it hit him. He stood up and walked over to you wrapping you up in his arms and gently kissing your neck, he knew that was your sensitive spot and it always helped you to calm down. Plus if it was your time of the month like he was guessing it was you were even more sensitive than normal. You tried to ignore it but you couldn't you leaned back into his arms taking slow breaths,

"better?" He whispered making you nod. Yami picked you up and walked back over to the bed holding you in his arms and gently rubbing your stomach, "we can finish studying in half an hour for now I'll help you to relax" Yami said kissing your temple.

"Alright, thank you Yami" you said closing your eyes and leaning into his touch, you hadn't slept very well the night before because of your cramps but you could always find yourself just relaxing in Yami's strong arms.

Yami watched as you fell asleep in his arms your breathing regulated and soft, he smiled at your cute face and hugged you tighter, he closed his own eyes falling asleep too. About an hour later your door opened and your dad peeked in you and Yami's books were still on the floor and you were both peacefully sleeping wrapped in each others arms,

"thank you for watching over my daughter and restoring her faith in the world Yami" your dad whispered looking to a picture of himself, you and your mother when she was still alive then he smiled. He always knew there was something special about Yami and if he could make you smile and love again that was enough special for him to know about.
