After escaping the hellish jail they were just recently in, Jessica confronted Leah and Caleb. "I don't know what happened, guys..." As if she felt that an appropriate response. It was all she felt she could garner after wracking her brain for answers.
Caleb and Leah hugged Jessica, "Shh, I know, I know," they both said.
Jessica broke down and started crying in her friends' embrace.
"Guys... thanks for everything...," Jessica said quietly, "let's go home..."
The three, still locked in embrace, shed a tear. Leah looked up and smiled at her friends. Leah took both of her friends by their hand and relinquished the two from her arms. The group walked into the orange sun, their shadows growing longer as the sun started to rise.
