Your P.O.V

"Come on, Evie." I called as I made my way to the guild. Evie scurried up behind me and stumbled a little as she tried to keep up with my fast pace. I giggled and reached down to pick her up so we could make it to the guild faster. I wasn't in to much of a hurry but I wanted to go and pick out a good job before they were all taken. Since joining the guild I learned that you have to get to the guild early if you want to get a good one, especially when its getting closer to the Grand Magic Games. I finally made it to the guild and quickly made my way over to the request board to see that there was still quite a few good ones on the board. I smile and quickly look over all of them before finally picking one. It was a tough one that needed their town to be saved from a group of Vulcans that kept taking the women. 'It's perfect' I thought, then frowned once I noticed that they were requesting two wizards. I quickly glance around the guild and my eyes instantly zero in on Yukino who is sitting off to the side by herself at the bar. I quickly get the job okayed and head over to Yukino. I hug Evie a little tighter once I get close to Yukino before grabbing her wrist and yanking her out of the guild. "Hey." Yukino softly calls out with a surprised look on her face. Once out of the guild I start pulling her towards the train station while she stumbles behind me. "Where are we going?" Yukino asks while trying to keep up. "I got us a job." I answer her with a smile.

Yukino doesn't ask anymore questions for the rest of the trip to the train station. Once we get there I buy our tickets and we both quietly take our seats at the back of the train. It was quiet for a while until the train starts moving and Yukino speaks up. "What's the job?" I set Evie down in the seat beside me before reaching into my bag and grabbing the job request. "Here." I say as I hand it to her. While she reads over I pet Evie, who has curled up next to me and is sleeping soundly. Yukino hands it back to me and I put the request back in my bag so I won't lose it. "Why did you choose me?" Yukino quietly questions. "Well, your one of the very few people I know in the guild and I really didn't want to go with a guy." I answer with a shrug. I've been in the guild for only a few days so I don't really know anybody. The only people I've started to get to know is Yukino, who I've talked to off and on, Sting, who I haven't really seen or spoke to since I joined, and the Exceeds Lector and Frocsh, who I chat with sometimes when I'm at the guild. Another reason I haven't really got to know anyone is because I'm constantly going on missions.

I notice that Yukino still seems uncomfortable so I try and lighten the mood. "Why don't you tell me about those keys you always carry with you?" Yukino looks up at me a bit surprised before reaching into her cloak and taking out three golden keys. "Wow, they're so pretty. You're a Celestial Wizard, right?" I ask while looking over the shiny keys. All I get in response is a nod but she is looking less tense so I know she's warming up. "Which keys are they?" I ask, actually curious. I never remembered the Zodiac symbols, just their names. "This is Libra, Pisces.-" She said as she pointed at the first two, "-and this is Ophiuchus." She finished while pointing at the last gold one with black wrapped around it. "Wait, Ophiuchus? I've never heard of that one." I say while giving Yukino a confused look. She puts her keys back and answers, "Ophiuchus is the hidden 13th key of the zodiacs." I hum in understanding and decide to change the conversation.  "So, how long have you been in Sabertooth?" Yukino is quiet for a moment, lost in thought, before she answers, "Not too long actually." "Okay, well have you made any friends?" I try to continue. "Nobody in Sabertooth is really friends, besides Sting and Rogue." Yukino answers. I notice the more I try and talk about her she seems to get uncomfortable. "Speaking of Sting and Rogue, what is up with those two?" I ask. "From what I heard they were raised by dragons that abandoned them at a young age. They've sort of only had each other and the exceeds since then."

That's sad. I can relate to them a little more now though. Then I fully process what she said. "Wait, you said raised by dragons?" I question and Yukino nods. "Together?" Another nod. "That means their the Twin Dragon Slayers!" I say. "You didn't know that?" Yukino asks. I shake my head. "I had only heard about them from people on the streets. I never knew who they really were since I didn't stalk them on magazines like most people do." It always seemed creepy to me when fangirls would stalk and find out everything about someone over magazines and stuff. "I mean I had heard a few times that they were in the Sabertooth guild but I didn't know it was true." I explain to Yukino who only nods. For the rest of the trip Yukino and I talk and get to know each other. I still couldn't believe that I hadn't known who they were this whole time.

I'm so oblivious sometimes.

(Finished. Well now to finish the 100 Votes Special which I still have a lot to write on.
