"Bella! Come down here!" I groan, rushing downstairs. "What Mom?" My mom had her hands filled with bags and she didn't have to say anything, I already knew what was going on. "I'll grab the ones by the door." I bend over grabbing a couple bags and following my mom outside to her car. She pops the trunk and I throw them in.
"Honey, are you going to be okay by yourself? Do you need anything?" I shake my head. "I'll be fine." She reaches in her wallet pulling out money. "No, i'm fine. I don't need it." She nods, putting the money back. "Well, if you need me call me. I won't be too far, just going to Indiana." I nod emotionless.
She always does this, she leaves. I'm used to it by now, but it still hurts sometimes. Just the fact that she would leave me and Jonah alone while she goes to her new boyfriends for a week which always turns into two.
"Well, I love you. Make sure to look after Jonah okay?" I nod, crossing my arms.
And she leaves.
That easily.
Gone.

I wake up to Jonah crying. I rush into his room and pick him up. I begin to rock him gently and walk to the kitchen. I try my best to make him a bottle and begin to feed him. I had to make rounds today and i knew there was no way I could take Jonah with. I was going to have to drop him off with my uncle Kevin. After I fed Jonah, I sit him in his swing so he could nap while I got ready. He fell asleep rather quickly and I took this time to hop into the shower and get dressed.

I slip my bag over my shoulders and quietly place Jonah in his carrier. I make sure I have his diaper bag and anything else he could need before walking out the door. Uncle Kevin didn't really live far at all, just a couple houses down the road. So it didn't take long until I was there.
I knock and wait for someone to answer the door. I hear shuffling and soon the door is swung open. "Oh hey Bella, how's my favorite niece?" I smile. "I'm your only niece Uncle Kev." He laughs. "So what can I do for ya?"
"Um well mom left town yesterday and I have to do something really important today. I was wondering if you could watch Jonah for a couple hours? I wouldn't be gone long, I promise." He doesn't hesitate before answering. "Of course! I love my little Jonah." He takes the carrier from my hand and begins making faces at Jonah. Jonah laughs as Kevin speaks. "See, he missed me." I laugh. I hand him Jonah's diaper bag. I didn't have to tell him what to do with formula or anything considering he's watched Jonah a ton of times and has two little girls of his own.
"Thanks Uncle Kev. I'll be by in a couple hours." I wave as I walk down the steps . The door closes and I begin to make my way to Mickey's house. Once there, I knock. Mandy answers. "Hey." She says as something crashes in the back. "Mickey here?" She shakes her head. "He's at Ian's."
"Okay thanks."
The door shuts as I take out my phone and message Mickey.
Me -where you at? you were suppose to be here for your shit.
A few minuets pass and I soon get a response.
Mickey -sorry i forgot. im at ian's place. can you drop my shit off here? ill pay you an extra $20.
Me -address?
Mickey -blue house next to your uncles place. cant miss it.
I groan and begin to make my way back in the direction of my uncle's house. Once I spot the blue house, I make my way to the front door and knock.
