Catch up

Maya woke up as a foot landed in her mouth. She groaned in pain and held her bloody noes from bleeding. She looked up and scoffed licking her hand and wiping away the dry tear stains.

" wake up bichie we've got another day to attended to" the police men from earlier spat. Maya got up to stand and walked out the cell. She got dragged back by her hair and her wrist where twisted. She hissed as her hands where held behind her back as she started walking. As she slight moved her hands they had gotten even more twisted.

" what happened to the law that you can't hit a women?" Maya asked as the police men scoffed. " as long as I'm secretive no one will ever know and no one will ever care" he smirked crossing her arms slightly stretching them. Maya held back a groan as she continued to walk at her pace. She was shoved to a room with a chair. The door slammed closed as she mumbled hissing at the bright lights being turned on.

" have a seat" a stocked voice spoke. Maya stood up sitting on the empty chair and faced the person in front of.
His cap was down so in was covering his face and his hair was tucked in it. Maya could of sworn his voice sounded familiar.

" so maya is it? What makes you think you could of killed multiple people and then kill isadora in public without being caught?" The man asked.

" look Cookie I didn't kill nobody and that's it I was framed and now this butt wholes treating me like their chew toy" maya fought. The man silenced her slamming his fist on the table.

" look here whatever you say that doesn't answer my questions will go against you in court." The man shot back. Maya huffed sliding in her seat crossing her arms.

I first have to ask you a series of questions before I can let you go" he said shuffling a pile of small paper. Maya was about to speak again but he silenced her with his hand. He stood up walking over the maya as she looked the other way.

" I've seen plenty of girls like you and trust me none of them I like" he quite said walking away, grabbing his keys and unlocking the door. Maya's eyes where wide as she faced the door in disbelief. Her body turned shocked as he grabbed her wrist and ran with her. Then hid behind shadows and zoomed past security cameras.

" what why are you helpin-" the man shushed as as she obeyed. She didn't want to cross over her savior. An alarm went off as the two exited the department to the street. Cars started racing after them as the man looked around not letting go of Maya's arm. He rushed towards a garbage bin and jumped on to helping Maya up.

They raced up the stair well with the police hot on their path. They reached the top of the building stopping and looking down. The police men started to run up the stairs as maya looked back moving a strand of her hair out her eyes. The mans feet shifted forward squaring down. He was about to jump when maya grabbed his arm.

" WHAT are you crazy? Where you for reals just about to jump off?" She asked as the man sighed rolling his eyes. He jumped off forcing maya to do the same as she shut her eyes tight and closed.

Farkle sighed re reading the news app on his phone. He cursed under his breath fighting back tears in his eye.

" I don't see what's a big deal you two never where dating" Ava - his new adopted sister- said walking into the kitchen.

" you don't get it. Your hardly ten. You never understood what love is or was like" Farkle fought back with his voice cracking. Ava grabbed a bottle of syrup and some Nutella from the cabinets.

" that's what you say, I knew and have longed knew what love was" Ava sasses grabbing the ice cream out the deep freezer and an ice cream scooper.
