Ch.5 Everything's Explained, And We Get Adopted And Turned In To Demigods?

Hello, I'm Orwynn Wood. I have ginger hair and golden eyes. I am six foot one and I like reading. Okay, where did Phee leave off?  Ah,found it.  So we're in the throne room and Zeus gestured for us to sit down in the chairs he conjured for us.

 "You have been brought here because the Fates have foreseen that you eight..." he paused "have a big part in saving the demigod camps." "I don't mean to interrupt, but dem what's?" I asked. 

"Is it okay if I explain Lord Zeus?" Ezzy asked, he nodded. "Orwynn, a demigod is a child of a mortal like us and a god or goddess. Like Perseus or Theseus." she explained. 

"That is correct Ezmeralda, and they are often heroes. Or think they are mortal until they are claimed by us, there godly parent." Athena congratulated her. Leave it for the goddess of wisdom to give you an A+ for knowing your mythology. I nodded at them signaling that I understood and Zeus began to speak again. "Which for this reason we will be making you demigods." he spoke with conviction and worry. 

   Then the Fates showed up. 

"And the reason why we shall be reading your heart,soul, and aura. To chose your godly parent." Fate one told us.

 "Orwynn Bilious Wood please step forward." Fate two announced. 

Oh gods, I'm gonna die ! I thought as I slowly walked up to them my friends giving me comforting looks.

 "Kneel." Fate three instructed. As I did so gold,copper,and silver streams of magic wrapped around me and caressed into a symbol above my head a owl.

"Lady Athena please step forward." Fate one instructed her , she shrunk down to human size and stood in front of me. She wore a grey sweater and jeans with her dark  colored hair. 

"Well Orwynn, I suppose I should explain what is about to happen. I'm going to put my hands on your shoulders, and then a little bit of my blood will magically transfer in to your body. Then I will give you a blessing only I can give. Do you understand?" Athena  advised me. "Yes, I understand." I told her. 

She put her hands on my shoulders, and I became enveloped in an aura of silver. It stung my very being . And just like that... it was over. I had become a son of Athena. Then the blessing began. "I, Athena goddess of war and strategy. Bless you Orwynn Bilious Wood, with the gift of telepathy ." The silver aura glowed around me again. When it was gone, I went to sit down slowly.

    After I was seated they called up Pheobe, again gold, copper, and silver magic streamed around her and caressed into a glowing trident the symbol of Poseidon. He stood up and shrunk down to human size hawian t-shirt and all.   

"Pheobe Acasia Spire , I assume you heard what Athen told Orwynn. Are you ready?" 

"As ready as I'll ever be Lord Poseidon." She answered. He put his hands on her shoulders and she was enveloped in a sea green aura. She hurt you could tell, but she did not buckle. Then her blessing. "I,Poseidon god of the sea, earthquakes and hurricanes. Bless you Pheobe Acasia Spire , with the  ability to shapeshift." This time she was enveloped in a blue aura, after it had gone she to sat down.   

   "Lucian Alexander Beam." Fate three called yet again gold,copper, and silver magic caressed over Lucian revealing a flaming hammer. 

Lord Hephaestus shrunk down to human size and hobbled over to Lucian. 

"You ready for this kid?" he asked. "Bring it." determination seen throughout Lucian's face. Hephaestus placed his hands on Lucian's shoulders and enveloped him in a flaming aura. Ezzy squeaked a little then realized he wasn't hurt. After the aura faded it was his turn to be blessed. "I, Hephaestus god of blacksmiths and fire. Bless you Lucian Alexander Beam with the power to control fire." Lucian was again enveloped in the flaming aura. As it faded he sat back down by Ezzy.  

    "Ezmeralda Lilian Thompson." called Fate two. She walked up nervously. Once more, gold, copper, and silver magic caressed into two crossed torches. 

"Lord Zeus, would you please summon Hecate here?" asked Fate one. He did and with in moments Hecate was in front of him. 

"Yes, Lord Zeus ?" she asked curiously. "It seems this child is destined to be a child of Hecate, would you please?" he gestured towards Ezzy. She was already at human size and wore a chiffon dress. 

"Hello, Ezmeralda is it, are you ready?" Ezzy nodded. Hecate put her hands on her shoulders and Ezzy was enveloped in a forest green aura. Then after it faded Hecate blessing began. "I, Hecate goddess of magic and crossroads. Bless you, Ezmeralda Lilian Thompson with the power to control fire and see auras." She was enveloped in the forest green aura once more except it was flames this time round. After the flame went out she took her spot next to Lucian.  

   "Skylnn Reanna Lyre." called Fate one. You know the rest, except this time a crescent moon formed above her head. "Lady Artemis if you please." spoke Fate three. 

To be honest she looked as shocked as I was. The goddess shrunk down to her human form she was dressed in white camaflouge and had her brown hair braided back. 

"I'd like you to know Skylnn that just because I'm a maiden goddess doesn't mean you can't date." she informed Skylnn who smiled as Artemis put her hands on her shoulders and she was enveloped in a white light. Once faded, Artemis gave her her blessing "I, Artemis goddess of the hunt, viginigy, and the moon. Bless you, Skylnn Reanna Lyre with the power of talking to animals." again Skylnn was enveloped in the white light once it was disepated she sat down next to me.  

   "Rider Lars Clauson." announced Fate three. You know what happens, a caduceus glowing green and red above his head. Hermes was one step ahead of the Fates. 

"Ready kid?" He asked. "Heck yeah I am!" Rider replied confidently. He was enveloped by in an ever changing aura of green and red. As it faded Hermes started his blessing. "I, Hermes god of thieves and travelers. Bless you, Rider Lars Clauson with the power of super speed." once again Rider was enveloped in the ever changing aura.  

    "Gryffin Casey Aaron." called Fate three. Again with the cool magic. A lightning bolt formed above his head. Zeus shrunk down to his human form with his royal blue pinstriped suit. Zeus nodded, Gryffin nodded back. Then Zeus placed his hands on his shoulders and a stormy grey aura formed around him. After the clouds dispersed,  Zeus began his blessing "I, Zeus king of the gods, god of storms and the sky. Bless you, Gryffin Casey Aaron with the power of flight. " an aura of sky blue surrounded him this time. It was gone as quick as lightning.   

   "Lastly, Iereen Hermione McHael." Yada Yada... a rose formed above her head. 

"Well, are you ready?" Aphrodite asked her as her appearance constantly changed. Ree nodded and was enveloped in a pink aura as soon as Aphrodite's hands touched her shoulders. It lingered for a moment before Aphrodite started her blessing. "I, Aphrodite goddess of love and beauty. Bless you, Iereen Hermione McHael with the power of charmspeak." the aura retired for moments.   "As of now you are Children of the Gods." Zeus announced and we bowed and said thank you.
