Tyler's P.O.V
************
Kicking at the small amount of sand on the side walk with my blue painted toes I think about school starting in just a week. 'what will I wear? How will I fit in? Will people like me?' I know what I WANT the answer to be but I'm scared to find out what it really will be.. I'm trying to think of where I could go to clear my head and then it hits me. 'THE LIBRARY!!'

"Teen romance here I come!" I say loudly as I quicken my pace towards the small library.
I find my way to the back, where the elderly librarian said the teen romance novels were and pulled out a promising looking book. Sitting down I began to read and felt myself getting more and more attatched to Lisa, the main character in the book.
I'm startled when a girl about my age pops a bubble in her mouth and smiles at me.
"Hi!" she says, loudly smaking her gum. "I'm Demenia"
I smiled at the pretty red head in front of me and shook her hovering hand. "I'm Tyler, nice to meet you."
She nodded and started off again. "So your'e into teen romance too?" she asked with a lopsided grin.
"Yeah" I laughed, "this ones good so far." I held my book up for her to see.
"Ahhh I loved that one, Lisa is hard to forget." she said with a twist of her hair.  "Oh your hair is just lovely!" she exlaimed holding up a section of my long blonde hair.
I smiled my thanks. "I wouldnt mind having your hair myself" I said, nodding at her vibrant red hair, that was almost as long as mine, below her ribs, while mine was just at my butt.
"I wish mine was as long as yours." she said, lifting a section of her hair and rinkeling her tan, freckled nose.
Demenia, like me had green eyes but while mine were bright and wide, hers had a sort of depth to them that made her look very intellegent. I had no doubt that she was just that.
After talking for an hour or so, Demenia and I extanged phone numbers and agreed to meet at lunch tommorow. When I got home my phone buzzed, a text from Demenia no doubt. I smiled at the thought of already making new friends in this town.
I slept soundly that night and when my alarm roused me in the morning I was wide awake and ready for a good day.
