"Jessie get down here and take out the trash!" She says angrily.
"Coming mom!" I called. When I had just finished writing the first page of my story. I was writing about the events in my life that changed me for the better. As I walk down the stairs I see my mom crying. As I hurry to comfort my mom I see her smirk as she's weeping. This wasn't the first time that this has happened.
"Why are you crying mom?" I ask my mom concerningly as she continuously cries on my shoulder."
"I-I really don't know." She responds. Then she immediately stops crying and laughs.
"Mom I don't think these outbursts of different emotions is healthy for you mentally and physically. I really care about you and I don't want to see you hurt. So please... go sit down and watch some tv to get your mind off things okay?"
My mother nods steadily as she walks to get the remote. Then she sits down and turns on the tv. Her well being is all that matters. I thought. I grab the trash bag and open the door.
"Hey mom?" I call to her.
"Yes sweetie?" She answers.
"After I empty the trash I'm gonna take a walk outside okay?" I asked.
"Okay honey just stay safe." She said
"Like always." I say smiling at her. I close walk towards the trash can and dump the garbage. Done. I think to myself. As I walk in the darkness of night I go in the forest. It seemed like the nicest place to go for solitude and peace.
As I looked up at the beautiful stars the illuminate the night sky I see something red and circular in the distance. What could that be? I wonder. I became more and more worried as the circular red dot became bigger and bigger until I finally realized what it was. It was a... fireball! Heading straight for me!
