Amaya's Pov

"Amaya, wake up.  How did it go?  Did you become the next owner of the sword?"  I hear a familiar voice and realize that it's grandfather.  It takes me a minute before I realize that I never went back to my world like I originally thought and I was disappointed somewhat that I couldn't see Rei again but happy that I am still with my family in this world.

"Grandfather Amaya is awake now." I say opening my eyes and smiling.

"Well Amaya, were you able to become the owner of the sword?"  Uncle Hisoka asks me.

"Yep, Amaya is the owner of the sword of light, is grandfather and uncle proud of Amaya" I ask and look at them with eager eyes waiting to see their responses.  I already know that they will be proud of me but I just want to hear them say they are.

"I just knew that my little Amaya would be able to do it."

"Hm, good job Amaya."

They both praise me at the same time and I smile brightly.  I show them the mark of the sword to prove what I said and them we exit the cave.  Then that stupid ancestor tells me to tell them to keep this a secret that I obtained the sword, so when I asks them to keep it a secret they were surprised by agreed.

"Amaya, are you ready to go to Sythril Elthen Academy?" Chouko asks me as she gets the carriage ready for the ride to the academy where I shall now begin my studies and figure out what I shall become.  I nod my head and say goodbye to grandfather and uncle before entering the carriage with Chouko and we head off.  Inside the carriage I sit across from Chouko and let out a deep sigh as I watch the carriage pull away from the place I called home for all the years that I have lived in this world.  Chouko sits across from me patiently waiting while I am easily bored out of my mind right now.  "Here Amaya, you can look at this book I got while you were inside the cave," Chouko says handing me a book.

"What's it about?" I ask her as I take the book out of her hands.  Opening the book, I am so shocked that I dropped my life, not literally but books are my life so what I mean is that I dropped the book.  I stare at the familiar words that I haven't seen in so long.  It's my language.

"It's a ver beautiful book, but no one knows what the language is.  Apparently a young boy that's a few years older than you made this book recently.  He is a very smart boy and comes from a famous family.   His name is widely known, Yukio Yoshida, famous for being the strongest in this generation in his family and his master is one of the ten rulers of the world." Chouko tells me and them says I can look through it even though I won't be able to understand it.  I trace the words on the cover and hug it against my chest.

"Can I keep this book?" I ask her and hug the book even closer to my body. Chouko looks at me with a surprised look and sees my expression.  She gives me a slight smile and nods her head.

"I did get this book for you so of course you can keep it, it's yours."

I then sit comfortable while reading the book that's written in English.  It's full of stories mothers would read to their children at night when it's time to go to bed.  The only sounds I can hear is the sound of the horses pulling the carriage through the forest.  'Wait, why can't I hear any of the beasts in the forest?'  I look at Chouko and realize that when I thought she fell asleep earlier, the wasn't actually asleep when I checked her and seen a small dot that looks like someone stuck a needle through her.
