Chapter Thirteen

PIPPA'S POV:

I'm so scared.

Where was mommy? Where was daddy? Why can't I just see them?

After that ugly, stupid boogyman made them disappear, he turned to me.

"I hate you!", I screamed as loud as I could.

He waggles his finger. "Not a wise choice of words. No dinner today I guess", and he strode away.

I scooted into the corner and curled into a ball. I started crying really loudly.

Why?

ELSA'S POV:

Merida and Punzie tried to console me, but it really didn't help much. I needed Jack.

And I needed Pippa.

My little baby is gone, just like that.

I'm such a fool.

MERIDA'S POV:

I felt so bad for Elsa. She was one of my closest friends, and she was too sweet to deserve this. I left Elsa and so did Punzie as Jack took our place. I watched as she cried into his arms.

It made me so.....angry.

I stormed upstairs, ignoring Rapunzel's calls for me to stop, and stepped out on to the balcony. I rested my chin on my hand and propped my elbow on the edge, thinking.

How could I get Pippa back?

Direct attacks wouldn't work. Pitch was prepared for that. No, we would have to be very sneaky. I could try to get an angle on him with my bow.

Maybe if I-

"Merida?", a low voice said from behind me.

I turned around. Hiccup was standing there. I hadn't seen him in a while. A few hundred years, actually.

Yeah, we're immortal too.

His dark brown hair was longer now, and it was messily sticking out just about everywhere. He wore a suit of armor, and his green eyes shone in the light.

He was actually taller than me now, and muscular.

He had turned into a man.

"Yeah?", I responded.

"Are you ok?"

I sighed. "No, not really. It's just...Elsa and Jack don't deserve this! They're so amazing and I bet their daughter is, too."

He sighed in return, walking and standing next to me. "I know", he said, scratching the back of his neck, "especially Jack. He's like a brother to me."

Suddenly I found myself being hugged by Hiccup, and hugging back.

"Merida?"

"Mmm?"

He pulled away and looked into my eyes and started leaning in. I found myself leaning in, also, closing my eyes closed just as our lips met.

RAPUNZEL'S POV:

"Hey Me-", I stopped short when I saw her kissing Hiccup. On the balcony.

OH MY GOD!!!

I knew this would happen I knewitIknewitIknewit!!!

I sighed, leaning back against the wall. Oh, the feels!

I just love romance!

Sorry, I just had to. After every sad chapter, I have to write a happy chapter or a romantic/sappy chapter. It's just the way I work.
