I never meant it to go this far! I just wanted to be happy. I just wanted to feel loved by someone. I could hear them closing in on us. I felt him gripping on to my clothes as tears fell from his cheeks.
"Everything is going to be okay. I promise." He looked up at me with those eyes of his and I could see that he was trying to smile.
I pulled him closer to me and closed my eyes. I took one last breath as I whispered out a small 'I love you.'
