Chapter 37

~Taehyung

I got out of the bathroom freshly clean while drying my hair with a towel. I looked over at the clock to see that it was 10 in the morning. I went over to where Jungkook was laying down and moved his hair away from his eyes. "Baby, get up." He moved around and pulled the covers higher. 

I went to grab the covers, but he wasn't letting go. "Babe, if you don't get up, I will leave you here all alone." I could hear Jungkook mumbling stuff under his breath until he sat up. He then looked under the covers and slowly turned red. "Um, I'm just going to take a quick shower." He wrapped himself up and took a step to get out of the bed.

Thankfully I was close and was able to reach out to him when his legs decided to give out. "Ugh! My back freaking hurts." I smirked at him and picked him. "Well, you were very much enjoying it last night." He stayed quiet but slapped my chest. I turned on the warm water for the bath and took the covers away. 

"Taehyung! I'm naked!" I set him down and went to grab the shampoo and conditioner. "Don't worry, I saw everything. It's not like it will be last time either." He pouted and finally let me be bathe him until he was clean. When we were done, he could finally stand up and ordered me out of the room so he could change.  

I went downstairs and was greeted with an annoyed Jimin and surprisingly, a happy Yoongi. "Finally! I thought you guys were going to stay up in your room all day." Jimin complained while he stared at me. Yoongi was behind the kitchen counter cooking something and didn't even bother looking up. "Jungkook will come down in a bit. Do you guys know where Namjoon is?" 

Yoongi stopped cooking and looked up, "He is with Jin at the moment and warned us to not interrupt them. Said he had some serious matters to talk with him." I nodded my head and went to take a sit on a stool waiting for Yoongi to finish up. 

"Well, didn't Taehyung wreck you. You're freaking limping." I quickly turned around to see Jungkook actually limping over to us. I got up and helped him sit down. "Oh, be quiet Jimin." Jimin just laughed at the cute face that Jungkook had made and let him be. 

Jungkook scooted closer to me and laid his head on my shoulder, "What is it baby? Are you okay?" He smiled at me before giving me a quick peck on my lips, "I am perfectly happy." I moved his hair back to show off his beautiful skin. Someone had cleared their throat causing us to break apart. 

Hoseok stood there looking at us, "Good morning, I came here to say that I'll be taking my leave. I want to thank you all for making me part of something, but I feel like its time for me to move on." The sound of the stool falling as Jungkook stood up abruptly echoed through the kitchen.

"What do you mean you're leaving? Where will you go?" Hoseok just smiled at him and picked up a bag that was beside him. "I have nothing here for me, and I will just stay with some friends before I can get my own place. Don't worry, I'll be okay." He started hugging everyone and lasted the longest with Jungkook. He finally came to me and gave me a firm handshake. "Don't forget what I told you."

He said goodbye one last time before finally stepping out of the house. Somehow I felt happy, but I could not ignore the now empty feeling of someone important missing. The touch of someone holding my had taken me out of my thoughts. "Don't worry everything will be okay." I squeezed his hand hoping it was true. 

We were all sitting down in the dining room as food was laid out. The light of the sun came through the window illuminating the room in a soft color. Namjoon sat at the head with Jin beside him. Next came Yoongi and Jimin sitting on the other side. I took the other head of the table with Jungkook between Jin and I. 

I looked around the table and smiled at the people I had in front of me. I was thankful that they came into my life even though it may have been a dangerous, crazy, and emotional ride. For the first time, I saw Namjoon smile. It wasn't one of his biggest one, but it was a start. Yoongi was no longer so quiet and would make more comments than usual. Everyone finally seemed like they were happy. I turned to look over Jungkook who was laugh at one of Jin's jokes. His head was tilted back while his face was scrunched up. The sound of his laughter filled me up with this feeling that I wish to never forget. 

I can now say that I'm truly happy.
