Chapter Fifteen

~Taehyung~

I walked through all the tombstones that were lined up and headed straight to the back corner. I saw Namjoon on his knees. I saw his shoulders shaking and I slowly made my way towards him. I placed my hand on his shoulder and was surprised to hear him let out a laugh. He finally hit his breaking point.

"Hyung, let it out." He surprised me because he started punching the ground. "Why did he leave me!!! Why? He promised me he loved me and that was going to stay by side." I let him let out everything and looked at the tombstone.

Wang Jackson

It's been almost two years since he has died and Namjoon still hasn't recovered from the tragic event. He finally stayed silent and got up from where he was and turned to look at me. "Taehyung promise me you will protect whoever has your heart. Protect him till your last breath." I stared at him in the eyes and whispered out an 'I Promise'.

We were both walking towards the house since the moon was  illuminating our way back home. I looked at Namjoon and could tell he was back to his regular self. I opened the door and let ourselves in. We could see the lights still on from the living room and whispering going on. Namjoon entered the room and was tackled by Jhope and a relieved Yoongi stood behind staring.

"What were you thinking? That you could just leave without saying anything? Do you know how worried we were?" Yoongi's face was slowly turning red as he continued to throw questions towards Namjoon. I looked at the other guys who were standing aside and noticed that Jin was staring intensely at Namjoon. What does that guy want? Jin looked over at me and saw he had been caught staring. He quickly turned away and looked somewhere else.

Namjoon finally realized we had guest and pushed the guys aside to introduce himself. "Hello, my name is Kim Namjoon. Nice to meet you." They all said hello and it went silent again. Guess I have to step in. "Guys, this is Jungkook. The guy that will be staying with us." I held his hand gently and pulled him to my side. Namjoon just gave me a stare and left. Jungkook looked at me confused. "Hyung, did I do something wrong?" I gave him a small smile and rubbed his hand with my thumb. "No baby boy, he's just passing through something." He gave me a smile and nodded.

I turned to my baby boy's friends and looked at them. "So are you guys going to go?" Jimin looked at Jin and Jin continued to stare at where Namjoon was standing with a small blush covering his features. Jimin pushed Jin a bit and that seemed to snap him out of the small trance he was in. "Uh, we should be leaving. We will continue to check up on Jungkook and don't worry, if Jungkook wants to keep this a secret, we will."

I led them towards the door and shut it closed after they were gone. Yoongi and Jhope called out  a 'night' before heading into their own room. I went to the stairs and picked up the bags and turned to make sure my boy was with me. "Lets go to the room." I turned off the lights from the living room and went into my room with Jungkook right behind me. We both got ready for bed and was finally laying side by side.

I turned to face him to see him looking at me. "Thank you Tae." He closed his eyes and I pulled him closer towards me. I placed my hand around his waist and breathed in his scent.

If only he'd know what I would do for him.
