Faking Diary Entries

Another great day. I feel this should be the first thing I write. As I don't want this new hobby of mine to seem cliche.
However, I am a sucker for cliches - especially to do with romance. So, I am going to do one of the most cliche things I can think of. I am going to introduce myself.
My name is Violet Parker, and I am a female with purple hair. (You see how I like cliche things now right?)
On the topic of hair, I'm think of dying the tips pink. (Due to the fact my middle name is Rose - I know two flowers, my mother and aunt own a flower shop.) But, I feel that I may seem too girly (I say as I write in a diary) if I do dye it. So, I haven't. Yet.
Anyway, (if I continue to talk about hair then it'll seem like I'm contradicting that statement) I want to clear som thing up. I have friends. All the cliche high school one; the nice ones, the mean ones, the gossipy ones, even the ones that claim to be my friend but, in reality, just want my popularity. (Yes, I'm popular. Why? I honestly don't know - maybe it's the purple hair.)
So, my point is, this book is not my only friend - nor will I be spilling all of my deepest and darkest secrets (like the fact I secretly like Twilight... not) into it. I mean who does that anymore? To be honest with you (and I say 'you' because I am talking to you, person who's reading this, not you, diary) I am only going to keep, (well of course I'm going to keep it, it's not like I'm going to write in it then throw it away - the proper thing to say would be: I am going to WRITE...) write, in this diary so I can remember my old self if I ever change. (Because I will - I'm sixteen, going on seventeen, I need to, somehow, become an adult) Though, I hope I change for the better, and not for the worst. (But who decides if you're better or worst now then before? Society?)
So, I will talk about relevant things, things I am interested in and things I feel might change my and my life. So, if you are reading this, and going to continue (I say this as a hint to stop reading - it's a sin to read a girl's diary - and a boy's I guess) then remember that this is my insight of different situations and how I have changed. (I'm pretty much writing this to my future self.)
