This scenario is a daddy and daughter scenario Freddy is father of Miranda and Miranda met a new friend who is being a abused but when Freddy contacts the authorities it's to late. Freddy's P.O.V

I sat on the couch with Melissa cuddled up next to me while we waited for our beautiful daughter to come home. Miranda came in with tears in her eyes " sweetie what's wrong " I said as she clenched onto my shirt as she took her black bow out of her hair and handed to Melissa while Melissa turned on her heel and headed to miranda's room. " Alyssa " miranda said as I gave her a confused look " what did she do" I asked as miranda stopped crying "she Lied " she said as I was still confused.

My little girl met a new friend
Just the other day
On the playground at school
Between the tires and the swings
But she came home with tear-filled eyes
And she said to me "Daddy, Alyssa Lies"

I didn't know what to say or what to think I brushed it off cause I didn't know what was going on " well you can tell me " I said hesitately.

Miranda looked at me and wiped some tears from her face then she began to explain everything. After she was done I gave a worried look as I brought her into a hug. " it's okay we'll figure something out " I said as Melissa watched from the door way " Miranda honey I made you snack " she said as me and Miranda pulled away and Miranda headed to the kitchen to eat " I'm really worried about Alyssa and so is Miranda " I said as Melissa nodded " I know honey " she said as I. placed a kiss on her lips

Miranda's P.O.V

I pulled my silky brown night gown over my head then I brushed my hair and teeth. After that I went to my room and got on my knees ,folded my hands, bowed my head and started saying my prayers " God please bless my mom and dad and I pray that you help Alyssa because she could use your asistance in Jesus name I pray amen " I prayed as my dad came in my room with mom beside him I climbed in bed and they tucked me in then kissed me good night as I fell asleep.

My little girl laid her head down
That night to go to sleep
As I stepped out the room I heard her say
A prayer so soft and sweet
God bless my mom and my dad
And my new friend Alyssa
I know she needs you bad

The next day

I woke up and got dressed in a brown sundress with a little poof in it then I took a golden ribbon and tied it around the waist then grabbed my brown flats and put those on. Then mom came in and brushed my hair and clipped my black bow in. Then I grabbed a little black flower clip and clipped it to the golden ribbon smiling to myself as I kissed mom and dad goodbye as I headed to school with my cousins.

Time skip

When we got there I was greeted by Alyssa and I could faintly see her bruises " your parents abused u again " I asked her as she nodded as we hugged " I'm keeping you in my prayers " I said as she smiled " thank you " she said as she flatten her aqua dress brushing her strawberry blonde hair with her fingers as the bell rang signaling for class to start.

After school I said goodbye to Alyssa as she waved goodbye I could see the pain in her eyes " see you Monday " I yelled as she smiled " okay bye Miranda " she yelled back making me smiled to my self as I headed home.

Freddy's P.O.V

Miranda ran in the house smiling as I hugged her she then headed to the kitchen telling us all about her day and then she told us about Alyssa and that made me worry even more as Miranda headed to her room as I looked at Melissa who also looked worried.

I tossed and turn thinking about everything miranda said fear evident in her voice " honey what's wrong " Melissa asked me and I sighed " I can't stop thinking about Alyssa I'm really worried about her and Miranda is more worried than I am " I said as Melissa looked at me " well Freddy I would call the authorities maybe it's not to late " she said as I got up and grabbed my phone and called the police.

I had the worst night of sleep in years
As I tried to think of a way to calm her fears
I knew exactly what i had to do
But when we got to school on Monday I heard the news

When we entered the school building Monday the teacher told me the news " daddy why is everyone sad what happened " Miranda asked as tears streamed down my face as I looked at her " Alyssa won't be at school today " I said sadly as she looked at me with tears in her eyes

My little girl asked me why everybody looked so sad
The lump in my throat grew bigger
With every question that she asked
Until I felt the tears run down my face
And I told her that Alyssa wouldn't be at school today

Miranda's P.O.V

I knew all to well what daddy meant and I was heart broken at least I know she was in a better place but that didn't stop me crying. I clenched on to my daddy's shirt and began cry a river staining his shirt as he stroked my hair. I knew my daddy tried everything but we contacted the authorities to late my tears ran like a river and my sobs were loud but no one cared.

Freddy's P.O.V

I held my little girl in my eyes as I began to cry to as I held her close afraid I would lose her if I let go. " why did this have to happen to her " she said through tears as I shook my head " I don't know miranda I don't know " I said as she cried more.

Miranda's P.O.V

I held on to daddy as we sat in the floor crying no one caring that we had class not even sure if we were gonna have it in the first place. I didn't care either way all I wanted was answers " daddy I miss her already I can't understand why this would happen to her " I said as he held me close " I know you do and I can't understand either " daddy said as we both cried our eyes red puffy.

we sat in the floor crying in each others embrace as the teacher told me I could go home because this was really affecting me. Then me and daddy got up and we went home where I stayed in bed all day crying.
