Melissa was walking with her husband travis hands intertwined as they stared up at the sky but something  or should I someone caught melissa's attention. There amongst the crowd was a familiar brown haired blue eyed boy,Melissa once dated.

I heard you laughing in a crowd outside a restaurant we used to go to
I caught a glimpse that stopped me in my tracks
It took me back

Melissa told Travis to head on and that she'll be home later. Once Travis left melissa smiled and made her way to the boy. " Freddy, freddy Fazbear is that you. It has been to long " melissa said smiling as Freddy hugged her picking up his daughter and placing her on his shoulders smiling. "Melissa hamato how have you been " he asked as she smiled " well i'v been good " she said looking behind her " what about you " she asked as Freddy laughed a bit " well I'm married and I have this little princess on my shoulders " he said as melissa smiled " I see that well I have to go maybe we can meet up and catch up some time " she said walking off. " yeah we should I mean you still have my number " he yelled after her as she nodded.

Melissa walked through the door and slide down it sighing to her self. ' he's changed ' she though heading to her and travis's room. Travis looked at her and smiled showing a twinkle in his chocolate brown eyes. " so how was your talk with your friend " he asked as Melissa smiled " um...it was good " she said her voice shaking a bit. She remembered each detail of as to why they broke up and she hated herself for it.

Travis looked at her his smile fading as he sat beside her " is everything alright " he asked caressing her cheek as melissa looked away frowning slightly. " yeah everything's fine it's just that. That certain friend happens to be a boy I used to date " she said laughing a bit. This instantly striked Travis's interest.

Melissa sighed as she told the whole story. Travis pulled her in for a hug as melissa smiled a bit forgetting about Freddy for a bit.

The next day

Freddy waited at a cafe with a latté in his hand as he flicked through his phone. " hey Fred " melissa said using the old nickname she used to call him when they were together " hey Melissa I thought you weren't coming for a second there " he said laughing a bit. Freddy looked up at the green eyed girl he was once in love with and frowned " okay I guess you deserve an explanation. I mean after we broke up " Freddy started before melissa cut him off " no no no you don't owe me an explanation about your new life I mean I did cheat on you " she said brushing her hair out of her eyes " but I don't regret ever being with u " Freddy said smiling his cyan blue eyes sparkling.

Melissa laughed at him a bit " me neither " she said taking a sip of her cappucino a twinkle appearing in her green eyes. " so how's life treating you" Freddy asked making melissa look away " well im married to a boy named Travis " she said sighing a bit as Freddy grabbed her hand " I kinda figured you'd find a boy who would treat you right " he said making melissa blush a bit.

Melissa looked down with a frown on her face as Freddy looked worried" are you okay " he asked concern lacing his words. " yeah im fine I was thinking that if I hadn't cheated on you then we'd be married and that little girl that you had on your shoulders yesterday would be our little girl and her name would be named Miranda " Melissa said and Freddy smiled a bit and looked her in the eyes " I know and my daughter is named Miranda I told Teresa that we were gonna name her Miranda " Freddy said smiling taking a sip of his latté.

Freddy looked at melissa with a frown " melissa u know there was a reason we didn't work out. " he said as melissa frowned slightly " I guess we weren't meant to be " she said in a soft whisper while Freddy nodded. Then she looked up and looked straight into those cyan blues she used to love " But Freddy do you ever think of what could've been " she asked as Freddy took the question into consideration.

Then he looked at her with a small smile " to be remotely honest all the time and there are even times that I wish I  woke up next to you everyday " he said as she looked away with frown " I still love you even though i've moved on " she said as Freddy smiled taking a hold of her hands " I love you too " he said letting go of her hands.

It was silent for a while then Freddy leaned and kissed melissa's cheek making her blush. " i'm happy for u " he said with a smile as she nodded " I'm happy for you too and I will always be " she said laughing a bit taking a sip of coffee.

Freddy and melissa got up and threw their cups away. "Well i'll see you soon hopefully " Freddy said as melissa nodded " you too " she said grabbing her bag and hugging Freddy. They looked at each other one last time and then they parted ways like they did when they broke up but this time they were certain they were gonna meet again.
