I sat there for a long while and finally I picked up my phone. I texted Annie 'I need somewhere 2 stay..... can I come over?' Being it almost 2:00 in the morning I did not expect a reply. Right away being as it may she called "What's a matter? Are you Okay?" you could hear the distress in her voice. almost to stop her worry I calm down and say "Yeah I'll be okay and I just need somewhere to stay, I'll explain later." I could hear in her voice she had been awaken by my text. "okay, yeah alright, come in the back door. Try not to wake anybody." I said "okay, thank you Annie."
It took me a half an hour to get there. I walk in the back door and the sweet aroma of violet and vanilla filled my nose. Looking around quickly I saw into the living room all the memories from years prior fill my head. The nights staying up watching movies on the couch. We were the best of friends. I look to my right is the stairs. From prior experience I know to walk on the left side to keep the floor from creaking.
Passing her mom and dads room to my left. I continue on to her room to my right was her door. I open her door slowly. She had moved her room around sense the last time I was hear the bathroom all the way to the back of the room's light was on.
I look to my left and the closet with the pile of cloths thrown about in it. to the right of me her bed with the bedside table right next to it. right a cross the bed was the 'dresser' (tv stand) the tv had been turned off and the remote lie on the bedside table. She lay limp on her bed. She must have gone to bed after our phone call. I set my bags next to the window. I reach down and grab a pair of random knee shorts and a t-shirt. I put them on and crawl in bed next to Annie. Before I know it I was drifting asleep.
