Once upon a time there was a boy named Legolas, Legolas was a prince but he had a secret he was a mage* as well as an elf. He hid his secret very well from the people of the kingdom, even his family had no idea of his secret for he wasn't born like this. One day while he was practicing his magic he wasn't being cautious and was caught by a boy from the village, his name was Cadence. Cadence promised Legolas that he'd tell no one about his secret and they became best friends. Now one thing you need to know about Cadence is that he was a mage and an elf. The two boys helped each other practice magic and there archery. They would hang out all the time. At first, Legolas's parents weren't too keen on the idea of their son hanging out all day with this normal boy from the village but, they wanted their son to be happy and after a while the two families became great friends. The king and queen would invite Cadence and his family to the castle for royal feasts and gatherings. Then one very tragic day the queen died suddenly due to an unknown illness. The kingdom very quickly became a sad and gloomy place, the king became depressed and paid no attention to his son and the kingdom. Legolas and Cadence are now 16 still best friends, they protect each other and their secrets. they love spending the days together. A couple months after the queen passed away, the king ordered his son to not see Cadence anymore, Legolas was furious and ran straight to his room. That night, Legolas climbed out of his window and ran over to Cadences bedroom window, to his surprise he was awake writing a letter to his parents because he was planning on running away.
