Bad Things Happen

After a long afternoon it was already time for bed. While Legolas was getting into bed Cadence rushed in crying and hugged Legolas tightly "what's wrong Cadence?" asked Legolas really worried "uh well um you're gonna think it's stupid but I had a bad dream it's stupid I know I'm sorry" said Cadence as he started to cry even more "no it's okay I understand it was just a dream it wasn't real and I wouldn't let anything happen to you now go back to sleep and we'll talk in the morning goodnight" said Legolas before he kissed Cadences forehead and Cadence went to his room to sleep they both got a good night sleep but they were woken up by screams from the elfs and mages a human army broke through the barrier they got ready and started fighting after a while they had won but there was one problem Legolas looked over at Cadence as he was falling to his knees then Legolas looked closer and saw an arrow in Cadences back and as he started running toward him and yelling to the medics Cadence fell on his stomach and blacked out... A couple days later Cadence awoke in his bed in the cabin and walked downstairs and saw Legolas crying in the kitchen he kept walking until he came to the bar and sat down Legolas hearing someone behind him he turned around and saw Cadence he jumped over the bar and hugged him then they caught up and Legolas told Cadence what happened after
he blacked out until right now "oh yeah now I remember I got shot half way trough the battle" said Cadence "wait. What but we only saw it after we won tell me you're joking please tell me you're joking!?" said Legolas in a somewhat angry tone " no. I'm not joking I got shot half way trough the battle but I didn't tell anyone cause it would have caused us to lose because you'd be to busy worrying about me and it would have been all my fault if we had lost" said Cadence "no it wouldn't of been your fault" yelled Legolas with tears streaming down his face then Legolas grabbed Cadence and hugged him for a couple minutes until James and Jacob walk in the front door "uh?" said James, Legolas pushed Cadence away and said "sorry it's just he woke up and I was really happy" "it's okay we understand" said Jacob "anyway how are you feeling Cadence?" he continued "oh pretty good actually really refreshed" he replied "well that's good, but we just came to check in on Legolas he has been out of it since you blacked out after the battle but he seems better now so we won't need to check in anymore anyway be safe bye" said Jacob as him and James left the house waving Legolas turned to Cadence and blushed "you were really that worried about me?" asked Cadence "uh y yeah when I saw you fall I thought you d died and I couldn't deal with the fact that you might be dead and I couldn't concentrate so" said Legolas as he was interrupted by Cadence hugging him "it's okay I'm alive I'm fine I didn't die I wouldn't leave you we've been friends forever and if I saw you the way I was I would be the same way you are now" he said then after a while Legolas turned around and said "Cadence you are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I won't ever let you get hurt again I promise" "thank you and I will return the favour" said Cadence.
