Story Part 4
I race through the forest just as planned. I got the jewels and I killed the family but some one tipped the guards off and now they are alerted just great. I reach the meeting point, huffing and puffing. I don't see Ace anywhere but then I'm suddenly pulled up into a tree and as I'm pulled up into the tree I see three guards race through the forest where I would have been standing. Turning around I'm met with a smug Ace leaning against a tree. He motions for me to come closer so I'm not seen and so I have no other choice but to lean against him. His face turns to stone very quickly as soon as he sees more quads run past us. "What did you do?".
"I did nothing wrong, someone tipped the guards."
"Is everyone dead?"
I hesitate but then say quietly "truth be told, I'm not sure any of them are actually dead."
He hisses at me with venom "what do you mean your not sure they're dead!"
"It's what exactly I said, I'm not sure they are dead because I didn't harm them in vital areas!"
After I shout this I instantly regret it because about 1 minute later I hear guards coming and before I know it I hear Ace say one word with no emotion "run."
