Chapter two

☽Findings ☾

After a normal and uneventful day three of them each go home but Billy goes with Abigail (after a half our of just being kids at the park)

When Emily gets home she says hello to her parents and retreats into her room to scroll Tumblr and watch her current favourite show -supernatural- but when she jumps onto her bed she feels something hard under her blanket.

She lifts it and sees a tiny gold ring with a light red but small gem on the front. It was engraved.

'To: Emily'

Emily almost screamed. She took a picture of it and sent it to Sarah, who called her almost a minute later.

"Who gave that to you!!" Sarah shouted into the phone. Emily stuttered out an incomprehensible response and Sarah laughed.

"Did one of your parents give it to you?" Sarah asked and before Emily could answer she asked another question "does it fit?"

Emily paused and put it on her ring finger. "Oh god it does! How?? My dad doesn't buy things like this and my mom knows I'm not really one for jewelry!" She shouted and there was a long pause.

"Was it... Carmon?" Sarah hesitantly asked. Another long pause.

"But... She knew I don't wear rings like this... And why would it take that long for it to be given to me?" Emily looked down at the floor, uncomfortable with the topic.

"Where did you find it?" Sarah asked.

"On my bed, but not like sitting there it was under the covers" Emily answered, shrugging her shoulders despite Sarah not being able to see her.

On Sarah's side of things, she was freaking out. A random ring without any obvious evidence as to who sent it. She, in her awkward state of fear and confusion went to her bathroom. She didn't know what she was doing but she decided now was obviously the perfect time to wipe off her makeup. She opened the mirror cabinet and almost dropped her phone into the sink.

Mid explanation as to why Carmon wouldn't give a ring to her Sarah cut Emily off. "Em!! I found a ring too! It's exactly like yours but pink and it says my name!" Sarah shouted. Emily blinked a couple times, making random sounds that wouldn't even make sense to babies.

"I... Have Bill or Abby found rings?" Emily asked finally after a prolonged period of random sounds and blank silence.

Meanwhile, Abigail was freaking out. She had a specific drawer where she normally put her scarf and when she looked inside she found not only one but two rings. One was a very light blue like her eyes and the other was dark red. The blue one said 'to: Abigail' and the other one was unreadable.

She turned to Billy and signalled her to come over.

"Did you leave me this?" She asked with a blush on her face. She slipped the light blue one onto her ring finger.

Billy looked at it quizzically, "no? I don't remember ever buying something like that"

Abigail paused. "What? Then where did it come from?"
