Hanji x Levi (Staying Strong Till The End)

A strange dream

*Hanji's pov (in her mind)*

I don't know what's happening all I remember is that we were all out on a misson outside of the walls. Now I'm walking down a never ending corridor... Was the misson a success? It must have been as I think Im sleeping now, this can't be real. As I look around it's just a plain white corridor and there seems to be no end. There's a suttle pain in my side but I over look it as I'm curious to see where my dream Hanji will end up.

Suddenly there's a bright light which is coming from the end of the corridor and like a fly I am drawn to it. The light is coming from inside a room with its door slightly opened. I hesitate as I dont know what is behind the door but sure enough I open it. The light is blinding and I close my eyes until the light isn't so strong.

When I open my eyes again I'm lying down in a bed with two women looking down on me. They are wearing masks and have their hair neatly tied back into a tight bun. The pain in my side increased and I let out a little wimper. "You're doing really well" comforted one of the ladies.
Confused I looked around, the room was mostly empty except for some general tools and lights. There were no pictures on the walls and it was only me and the two ladies in the room together.
Another wave of pain hit me and it forced me to cry out.
"Its okay you're almost there, we have contacted your partner and he is coming here to be with you" the other masked lady said.
"Why do I hurt so much?" I asked them through the waves of pain I was experiencing.
"First time child birth is never easy for anyone but you are doing remarkably well" she told me.
I was having a baby? Who was my partner? Then a door was opened next to me and in walked Levi, he was dressed very casually. His raven black hair was in its normal style and he gave me a looked before one of the ladies approached him.
"Are you the father?" Asked one of the ladies.
"That's me, has she had it yet?" He asked the ladies.
"Not quite yet, anytime now" replied the lady.
Levi came over to my side and looked down at me "Oh dear Four-eyes look at how filthy and gross you look" he remarked.
"It hurts so much, I wish this pain to hit you and not me, I don't want it anymore" I told him as another wave of pain hit me.
"Tch, that's not how child birth works Shitty-glasses, you of all people I would have thought you would have known that" he told me.
Another massive wave of pain hit me again and instinctively my body began to push. Levi grabbed my hand and held me as I cried out in pain.
"Your nearly there just a few more pushes now" said a nurse.

A few more sharp pains hit me but soon the room was filled with loud crying. Finally I could now rest, my body ached. And over the top of my legs I caught a glimpse of my new born child. Its hands were tiny and the skin was still slightly pink. Levi looked down at me and said "She's beautiful Four-eyes" I hadn't yet seen her but I took his word of it. The ladies bundled her up in a white towl and carried her over to Levi.
"Do you want to be the first to hold her?" She asked.
He looked at me shocked and I smiled weakly back at him "It's fine it can't be helped I feel to limp to be able to hold her yet just give me a little time to recover"
Levi took her from the nurses and held her like a real father would.
"I told you, you were going to make an amazing father" I smiled up at him. He just carried on looking at our baby, he then brought her close to me so I could see her.
"She has your face shape, and by the looks of it my hair and eyes" he smiled at me.
"I haven't seen you smile like that since we won our battle with the titans" I told him.

Wait what was I saying? We could now live in peace and not live in fear of our lives?

He then put her on my chest so her small head could rest at the base of my neck. Her small body was warm against my skin and I felt Levi stroke my head. "We can now be a proper family all together, just wait until Erwin sees her he will be so proud of us" Levi said as he gently kissed the top of my head. I was smiling so much my cheeks hurt but this was the happiest day of my life.

Then somewhere I could hear some one shouting I could bearly make out what was happening or what they were saying. Progressively the voices got clearer and I could hear what they were shouting "Hanji wake up!"
"Oh God the bleeding isn't slowing down!"
I couldn't understand because to me I was awake, I had just had my baby and me and Levi were gonna be a happy family. I looked around the room again and everyone was fading away I reached out to touch Levi's face but my hand went straight through him. I then looked down at my baby, she too was slowly disappearing but the weight on my chest wasn't leaving. I blinked and everything had gone. I could feel a small tear leak from the corner of my eye.
That must have been a dream but it all felt so real. The pain of giving birth and the contractions, that was real pain. I was so happy but now when I looked around all I could see was darkness.
"Hanji wake up, come on wake up" there the voice was again. The voice was so familiar but I couldn't place who it belonged to, it was definitely a mans voice. I tried to call back to them but I couldn't make a sound.

I was drifting in and out of different dreams but always I could hear someone calling for me to wake up. Was I dying? Nah I was probably just in a deep sleep and was blocking out all of the cadets who were trying to wake me. That was probably it. I mean I had been doing a lot of experiments lately and probably more than the healthy amount of all nighters.

I looked up and I could see a red sky with white fluffy clouds drifting across it. Maybe me giving birth was just a dream and now this was reality. I was lying on my back in a field but my side was still hurting. I looked around my body and the grass was swaying in a light breeze style, but I couldn't feel any breeze. I tried to sit up but I couldn't, I just hurt too much so I just remained lying there. My body feels cold but there was still the weight of my child resting on my chest eventhough nothing was there anymore.

I'm scared I just hope it all goes and I can be back with reality soon.
